Good leaders make good teams...so if anyone wants to blame someone, blame the selectors, coaches, Managers and so called big wigs of hockey .
Pick mediocrity and you'll get mediocre results. So why blame the players? Don't invest in training the coaches and playesr on the latest methods of power, endurance, technique. Don't build a good , healthy domestic circuit, don't rope in sponsers to promote the sport. Don't expect MEDALS!!
Full stop....to B*LLSH*T from these so called IHF and experts on hockey!! then may be..maybe..we'll get winners
Indians as a community and by that I mean Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Christians lack killer instinct.
This is visible across professions and in personal lives.
We do not have a single Indian brand till date that is well recognized globally. We have not had good pace bowlers but with the exception of Kapil Dev till date, we lack the strikers in Football and Hockey and the few we have had are either inconsistent or victims of politics.
In Politics too there is not one political party which has a strategic plan for the country. Forget a plan even the vision is lacking.
Corruption, Lethargy and Indiscipline will eat India in future more than what it has done till date.
We have an external debt that is of an astonishing scale, a parallel economy of about 150 Billion Dollars, political and business instability. All because of just one thing and that is our attitude.
