This is a time when we need to understand the thought behind demonitisation. Black money has been an evil in our country for the past decades. We know that stopping the growth of black money (and corruption) is one of the greatest challenges any administration of India would face. The previous PMs have been skillfully avoiding any hard decision on stopping the black money (and circulation of counterfeit notes from Pakistan) in the country due to obvious reasons; it could be highly risky, risking even their own life. Now, here is a PM who has taken a very bold step (probably the boldest in Indian history) to fight against corruption. It would only be reasonable from our part to cooperate with the PM in this great endeavor (rather than making unscientific remarks). Let us abstain from making scathing remarks against the decision; we know that it is not an easy task which in turn would certainly require stringent follow-up actions. I earnestly believe that the Government would do that (eg: bringing purchase of gold and properties to the scanner - may be through digitizing Adhaar card). At this juncture, the motive behind Ms Mamta Benerjee (and some of the opposition parties) is not clear. She demonstrates herself that she is an immature person to handle such serious matter. This is a time when we need to join hands and fight against corruption and black money. Let us do that, rather than throwing unfounded allegations against the one who has initiated the struggle. JAI HIND !

@PadomaKumar Farmers and working class people who are still struggling in the queue are real comfort zone people. They should be punished in the war against corruption.

I still remember the struggle we had for food and essential items (like cloths) in 1962 when India was at war against China. I was a school boy and stood in the queue for more than six hours. At several time, we had to return home empty handed. Most of the Indians were starving at that point of time. Compared to that this 'queue' is much less. I am not belittling the sufferings of the people. It is still there to some extent; but, day by day, to our relief, the queues are getting shorter and shorter. In another 10 days or so, let us hope that it would reach a manageable size.

Everyone is facing difficulties due to demonetization but everyone is still happy. Poor people think rich people got screwed. Worker thinks boss got screwed. Patient thinks Doctors got screwed. clerk thinks bureaucrat got screwed. Bureaucrat thinks minister got screwed. Minister thinks opposition got screwed. We Indian have been enjoying such traits. But bhaktas are enjoying because order came from MoNaji.

Mamta has no rights to be the CM of any state. Instead of supporting the PM decision, she is trying to fool common man. The Bharat bandh decision of Mamta along with Ex party should be opposed by common man, to show the distress against black money / corruption.
She wants to be PM that is what she is making a show to unite Opposition. West Bengal is gone to DOCK. I think time has come COMMON MAN should attack all this people.
