Don't slither like a snake Mr Aakar. Kashmiri Muslims also do not think they are Indians. We can solve the Kashmiri problem in an instant. We can exchange the population of Pak Occupied Kashmir and Indian Kashmir. They are willing to be part of India while people of Kashmir Valley want to be part of Pakistan.
Knowing Kashmiris in and out, I would say that Kashmiri Pandits and present lot of muslims toeing line of ISI , were never ever any different. They are not to be trusted, what to talk of their amalgamation in mainstream India! Who does'nt know that Kashmiri Pandits have milked the state in their heydays and now shedding crocodile tears! There is no element of integrity or character in their behaviour towards Indian state. They are rightly being treated for their treachery !! Sorry to say, but this is a fact!It is time to correct the past and what this government has decided is right! let there be fireworks in valley!

Send your family to settle in one of the areas you mentioned and write your actual findings. Do not play with India. You are a member of nasty international.

It is the fault of the governance of Bharatvarsh. From day one since independence the governance has always mishandled the Kashmir issue and made it unsolvable via 370. Had it been handled correctly, the way it should have been, it would have already become a non-issue and the Kashmiris would have assimilated with the rest of Bharatvarsh.
It is still not too late. Pass errors can still be rectified by taking gross actions like removal of 370 and full control over the state - in real sense.
We can do w/o such oversimplified reasoning especially on Kashmir.K's main problem is the muslim majority in the valley and Pak connection where the old traditional secular Kashmiriyat of hundreds of yrs have given place to rise in Islamic nationalism since independence in 1947.Best thing will be to first, trifurcate the state ,merge Jammju,Ladakh and part districts of K to merge them into India . Second give Azadi to a truncated valley for the Muftis,Abdullahs,separatists to have for themselves the way they want.They can follow the foreign policy of their choice as long as it is not against India. Three. keep the Indian Army at the borders.

Why do you want to complicate things? Just exchange the population. Let Kashmiris of PoK come over here, they are yearning to be part of India and let the people of the Valley go to Pakistan.
