Cong is capable of doing anything for power
by Mahadeva Mishra on Jan 25, 2014 09:54 PM  | Hide replies

You don't know Congress. As Manish Tiwari said there will be surprises. Just wait and watch. In the next four months till election there may be some riots orchestrated by these parties. There may be some antiques involving some foreign countries. There will be utter chaos for sure. Thats Congress for India. Enjoy your SG,RG, PGV and the damad RV.

NDA Rule of 6 years
by proudindian on Jan 25, 2014 09:53 PM  | Hide replies

Those who believe that 6 year rule of NDA was better than UPA probably were too young then.
People old enough will remember the following:
- Retrenchment/ VRS/ downsizing in government, PSU, banking, private sector. Only the IT sector was doing well.
- Pakistan policy was swinging from one extreme to another Lahore bus ride, Kargil, Agra Summit, Operation Parakram.
- Agriculture sector was suffering. India had to import food after a long gap immediately after NDA rule. Agri growth rate was ~2%.
- Land and petrol pumps given to RSS people.
- Loans of big industrialists waived off. PSUs sold for a song to private companies.
- Coffin-gate during Kargil, Tehelka and several other scams.
Above and much more. Please don't be fooled by

Still that was better than -
1. 2G scam
2. 3G scam
3. Coal Scam
4. CWG scam
5. Not able to generate the enough employment opportunities
6. Still 75% india goes under power load shading and loose business when the power is critical portion
7. Humiliation at China and Pakistan border
8. Weak financial state of the country

most of all.... country was ruled by a PROXY Prime Minister (who said, Sonia sacrificed herself for PM post).....

People had chosen congress (in good hope), in return Congress MP's -democratically choose PM of this country - mostly from Nehru and Gandhi family.....
Is this democracy.. this is nothing but fooling indians....

We must know, to whom we are voting for... we must know our PM candidate and his plan to take country further....

Congress should be only in history after the 2014 polls.....

Let BJP (and NDA) come to power....
lets give other side of people a chance to change this country in ve way....

Lets choose BJP.....lets choose Narendra Modi....
Lets vote for Modi...

Where was humiliation on border. China had to take its soldiers back. By building better relations with Japan, Vietnam, Burma, Thailand India has made China jittery. By keeping continuous pressure on Pakistan we have been able to bring several terrorists to face trial and keep paki ambitions in check.

Proudindian ji, some of the wrong decisions taken by the previous government created problems for the NDA and most of the good decisions taken by Sri Vajpeyee ji brought good name to UPA -1.

As an apolitical person, I firmly believe that NDA rule was far, far superior to the present UPA government.

Scams after scams, non-affirming Prime Minister, very bad law & order prevailing today, wrong economic policies of Sri Chidambarm ji and very high rate of corruption have brought a very bad name for the country under the present government. I wish Smt Sonia ji had assumed the office of the Prime Minister instead of Sri Man Mohan ji, she would certainly have done much better.

And, in the coming election, it is certainly Sri Narendra Modi who will have better prospects than others.

Good for country if NAMO comes
by ajay singh on Jan 25, 2014 09:53 PM  | Hide replies

I hope NAMO comes over and gets 300 seats with 3-4 allinace parties. I also hope that others join him for a stable and corruption free government. At least we come out of 10 years of horrible mess created by this UPA government and the empty boasting they are doing. The UPA leaders are not connected to people and keep boasting without showing how much they have eaten up the country.

Mambakkam Subramanian
Adolf Hitler's populrity in India
by Mambakkam Subramanian on Jan 25, 2014 09:48 PM

The author proceeds on a wrong premise that there are 17% of the Indian youth surveyed wanted a leader like Hitler. Well, his fear how ever genuine it may be, is surely born out of hasty generalisation and over reaction on the Indian polity's capacity.
In India most good for nothing guys who tried on any politics and failed are heroes like Che Guvera, Lenin, Staling and even Trotsky and castro. The Indian polity is so fractured that it would not be easy for any leader to regiment them like Adolf, the terrible, did with a highly regimented and disciplined German society.

BJP should win
by sridhara on Jan 25, 2014 09:47 PM  | Hide replies

BJP should come to power and remove reservation from India. Only people with good percentage in academics should get jobs. Jobs should not be given on basis of caste but on the basis of merit. Then only India can shine.
