Excellent observations. The Indian Culture, once respected worldwide, has been polluted by half-literate and criminal minded so-called leaders totally exploiting the naive, half-fed majority of the polulation. If kinds could be fed with the base of Indian Culture, these leaders would not be able to exploit the Country. Now let's see if Sri Modi can bell the cat.
Swami Agehananda once said that the Gita covers all the aspects of life and since life is full of contradictions, the Gita would succeed only in confusing young, undeveloped minds. Is it not too early to start teaching the book at first standard level?

You are 100% right. Gita can be interpreted differently by different people. You require a mature mind to study and analyse it properly.

As it is a book of clear and logical thinking (for anything like daily life, logic and thinking upto even Management of anything), Rather it will help to solve contradictions of life and built up an Independent and Moral life to become a good citizen !!
Starting from Class I onwards, if systematically taught STEP BY STEP, it will help developing a child's logical mind step by step.

I'm aHindu and have read more religious texts than you are aware of.
Fanatics are never made by religious texts. They are made by people who have an agenda and who (mis)interpret religious texts deliberately or otherwise.

Vijay, you have not right to insult religious minded people by branding them as jihadis and that too RSS educated! You think I have interest in Gita because of RSS education, absolutely not. I have never attended any RSS school in my life, nor I belong to RSS. Know the depth of our own Indian culture first, at least attempt to do. If you can't then please don't insult those who do.
Geeta is spiritual book not a religious book. Geeta itself is fully secular, must be introduced by govt. whosoever is in power, but my view on Mahabharat is different.

Yes can be introduced as all these are prepared by high intellectuals.In fact all these religious are to be taught at school level,so that they will have an opportunity to learn ethics and self confidence.Very good suggestion by honorable judge.Reading is not sufficient,but one should practice in real life which is more important.

Quran and Gospel is religious book, Geeta may be off shoot of Maha Bharat, but it is awakening of spirit-which is common in all religion. Anyone can compare concepts of Geeta with his own idealogy, he will find they both are same, whereas if we go for religion(method of implementation) they are different and do not fit in Secular India. Geeta is truely secular.
The judge was not hired/appointed to be a dictator. It is obvious that he does not understand the basic separation of religion and govt. in the republic of India. Such a closed-minded person cannot be expected to carry out justice impartially.
He should be dismissed from his post immediately and assigned to something else.
