The years are not far when the Pakistan, Bangla Desh, Afghanistan, Nepal and Bhutan will join the Indian Union. Burma may also follow suit. The reason will be the differences in scientific progress and incomes. The geographical barriers will break because people will not like to embrace poverty for ever.

world is not so simple. sometimes people want to be rather poor and have their own country (you think muslim kashmiris would have been happy) than be rich. This is specially if your religion says there is only one right way. You want your country to be the right way.

These people dream of glory days when Sirajuddowlah was the last independent nabob of Bengal and ruled over Bengal, Bihar and Orissa. Assam was an extension of Bengal in language and culture. They dream of reclaiming old glory days. Some of the Bengalis in WB even feel closer to Bangladeshis than to Indians. Poor BD with per capita income that is one tenth of India will never be able to do anything to India. However with their prolific birth rate like rats, they have already flooded and taken over states that border them. It is time for India to say enough is enough and expel fifteen crore Bangladeshis livinf illegally in India.
