No country can make 100% defence equipment in its own country itself, some of the items are to be imported, question is how much %, somehow ours is a little loose in accountability as such % of indigeous equipment could not be rapidly increased.
Production of sophisticated systems and components requires top class tech brains not only in IT but in other branches of engineering and technology. People who graduate out of the so called 'premier', 'world-class' institutes of technology would hardly bother to work in areas related to their specialisation. They would rather go for finance, hr, marketing, banking etc. So where are the brains to produce even run of the mill equipment. ZILCH.
To make your article authetic, you should provide valid references. Else, these may be equal to psychotic rants. I hope you didn't google it and did 'cut n paste'

So you take a magazine article as reference? Then this is a cut n paste job. Not investigative journalism. So India defence details are all available from magazines? Now our adversaries can cut budget amount spent on spying on India and read "Business Standard"

An average indian with common sense knows the kickbacks available in defence purchases which is why the congress party is not in favor of indigenisation.
If you dont understand such simple facts probably u r one of those mediocre indians.
