cThaan be summarized in one word " Aham Kalosmi.." The language and its then people this powerful to express this great truth can never be vanquished no matter what. But bharat people must be alert if any adulteration from sikulars coming.

For me noyhing is sacred it not time-tested.

"har har, the southern states, especially the state of Kerala was buzzing with Budhism actually, only during 800 AD with Sankaracharya coming into picture was this problem addressed."

Could you please name theBuddhist scholar(s) whom AdiShankara debated??!!! Just one would be sufficient please!!! Secondly, AdiShankara is supposed to have left home at the age of 8 and roamed all over India approximately 7 times by the time he was 32 when he retired intoHimalayas!!!! So, where was the time for AdiShankara in Kerala to even say "Hi or Bye" toBuddhists, let alone debate or wipe them out??!!!

the problem being addressed didnt mean, he took the sword and killed all budhists, did I say that? It was he who made hinduism more acceptable and he was the reason why hinduism surged back in India, which lead to the disentigration of alternate religions.

The saying that religion was invented by scoundrals as it is the opium for the idiots is proved by the lenghty debate going between two and half people.

Learn to quote Marx correctly and more importantly COMPLETELY: "Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people."!!!

Marx only sympathasized with the religious and NOT hated them!!!

take Marx as literature .Know marxism is inhuman coz Marx saw man as a production machine and not as a humnan being. That is the reason for its failure.

"May be one reason why Budhism was accepted in India was because some of the rulers were pro Budhism, for eg the Great Asoka who himself converted to Budhism and influenced the neighbouring states."

HinduIndia was never a theocratic state!!!! In HinduIndia, everyone (includingAtheists) had their way!!! Whereas, it was only afterAshoka that India went through a brief period ofTheocracy throughBuddhism where rules ofBuddhism governed the land!!!
