But the harracing of karnataka police will stop on marathi people. there is change between karnataka & maharastra. the kannada people of solapur are not ready to go to karnataka?
Maharastra-Gujarat was a single state until 1960. Mumbai has been, and still is, dominated by Gujaratis. If language decides the boundry, then Mumbai should have be part of Gujarat long back.

Naved Chacha , Gujjus, Parsees, Muslims who voted for Pakistan but stayed back in India and the rest a all tried very hard with the help of Nehru chacha in 1960 !In 1950 the % of Marathis was 43 % in Mumbai, also it is surrounded by Maharashtra . Gujjus were NOT even 15 % ! Gujjus were dominant in the the BSE till Patil of NSE destroyed them in 1980's and in teh COUTTON trade , polyester and Sindhis wiped them out .Gujjus in Maharashtra along with Parsees are parasites - they built nothing live off Mill land that was on lease for 99 years and did smuggling along with Muslims . Now they are into Gujarat Gaurav !

Gujaratis having dominance in Mumbai since looong time back is true but doesn't mean Marathi speakers aren't native to mumbai. Same thing applies to Belgaum, hence it being part of KA is justified. but who cares. evoke emotions in people and gain political power is mantra of post-independance india.

you asked this question but did you think over it? the gujarati people living in mumbai dosent demand that give mumbai to gujarat or any political leader. since this is the case of marathi people living in belguam or karwar is not the issue the part is theirs and they want to protect their culture and tradation which is being destroyed by karnataka govt has we have seen what was done by karnataka police when the procession was going smooth
Mumbai belongs to north indian , give mumbai to north indian , you may say whatever you want who are you to decide on mumbai , can you tell me a single municipality in mumbai where 100% people speak marathi , north indians are discriminated , while giving jobs and compulsion of marathi , how many north indians are working in municipality or police ?

Mumbai is the commercial capital of INDIA so every people have right to do their business for roti kapda & makaan but Bangalore is capital of karnataka why tamilians & keralians have captured bangalore. bangalore is capital of karnataka. they were not able to capture ooty as there were 90% people speak kannada. why they dont concentrate there.
