Hi OBC Sameer, Will you become a forward caste now that you have enjoyed reservation? Can you now inform the required authorities that you or your family members do not need reservation and it could be given to a deserving candidate?
I'm saying this because I had seen firsthand on the reservation policies in TN.. Though I've not received any favour through reservation, I had seen a lot of my classmates who were able to attend good colleges only because of reservation.. If not for reservation they might've never completed their graduation!!
Talented students FC/BC/SC will come up for sure, but those who are downtrodden will never realise thier potential if a chance was not given...
yes may be out of 100 students in a class, 5 may be underqualified, 5 qualified students may be denied, but there'll be 20 students who'll be in the class only for the reservation (they might've got very less information as they'll be the first graduate in thier family, no guidance, lack of facilities like the web, lack of english knowledge etc.)
Given a chance I'll go for the lesser of the evils - reservation based on caste till reservation based on economic conditions is possible or made reality..
ofcourse some steps ahould be taken to implement reservation based on economic conditions which is true reservation...
The caste system of Hinduism is aimed at sycologically subjugating dalits and other lower castes, just like Romans did to jews and Arabs, offfcourse they are lot mercier than brahmins.Eventhough, profets like Mahavir, Gouthama Buddha, and periyar did fight againist brahmanism, somehow it raises it's head again. I think the main reason is the uneducation of the masses especially in our rural India.Once India is educated, we can see the demolition of caste system.only then marriages will take place between Indians, rather than among castes.

I like the BIG words that you use, but in future please use spell check; at least for the title of your tirade. Its people like you who subjugate the rest of us mere Indian Mortals to take this type of nonsense. If what you guys stand for comes true, we will soon have 3.7% reservation for AOC (All other castes).Let me try and give a nice breakdown of how this caste system will work: 96.3%: OBC,SC, ST, VJ, NT, NB (Non Brahmin), OSP (Other stupid people)
Thus the probability of someone getting educated in India without reservation is rather bleak (hope you understand the word). Luckily for you, your son will indeed have the best education. Congrats!!

I am unable to understand how Hinduism is a religion, marriages do take place between cristians and among muslims or any other religion for that matter.why it is not so in Hinduism, bcz that is not a religion but a doctrin of great hever for forward castes and hell for all others

Neither did Periyar enforce anything nor did the any of the british or moghul rulers. In India people can be converted for Rs. 100. No one needs enforcement. Had anything been enforced, everone would have become christan or muslim.
According to the vedas...God is "Nirgun Niraakar"...these brahmins for their petty gains created so many Gods out of one god..Its like creating custom God to suit the pocket of the brahmin. No one needs a brahmin to reach God beacuase God is same for everyone.

This is a really bad point of view. As bad as Periyar had about brahmins. I think these are the point of views which will keep the country divided. Every caste having their own association will only take the country backwords. What about India, who wants to be an Indian? Some people seem happy in calling themselselves SC/BC and get reservation even if from a well to do family on the other hand some people want to show their supremacy based on caste and are pulling the country backwords eqaully.
"I am the atma in all living beings; I am Om in all vedic Mantras; I treat all living beings, no matter how big or small as equal; O Arjuna, I am Brahm and this kmowledge (Brahm Gian is highly confidential--even to gods and godesses) : Said Lord Krishna in the Holy Gita. We all suffer becuase of selfishness and short-term gains. Only a Brahm-incarnate can eat spitten berries from Bhilni because He accepts true love hidden behind actions. A true scientist also accepts that there is no basic difference between his head and the feet, as they both have the same set of genes, the same atoms and 'mother,if any,of the atoms: at-ma. As brain and feet are both important for the body of a living being or that of the cosmic Virat infinitum, we must have the gian to have mutual respect for all His 33 crore and 84 lakh known manifestations. Dear Gnana Rajasekharan, it is right that you are saying through movies against caste discimination. I think in your state (TN) major problem is the corruption. Wheather Kurnanidhi or Jaya CM, no matter both are same. Both are highly corrupted. They eat whole TN. You can give massage to TN people thruogh your movies.
