Well, if one sits to find faults with Manikarnika, there could be enough and there could be issues because might be in the process of writing and making, the makers would have got some facts wrong, because if one has to make such a movie depicting only true facts, then it would take 5 years to make a movie to perfection. So, why not we audience instead of finding fault try to appreciate the fact that such a movie on our history was atleast tried to be made with true intention and hard efforts than while all the while, we keep appreciating and watching hopeless senseless masala entertainers. We should credit the makers for making such a movie because it is utmost necessary that we show our young generation some part of our rich history because these days hardly children are interested in history like earlier days even though we have one subject on that in schools. And with social media and selfish leaders coming up, history is more seen as a topic of debate and showmanship of one sections of the community than learning and appreciating history as an Indian one.

all this is true but "true intention" of a film -whether a historical or a musical or a commercial masala or a so-called art film-is to make money for its stakeholders. So let us not glorify any other"true intention" of even this film or any other film. And while it is true that scripts are written more to suit them for film-making rather than to stick to pure facts, a maker of a historical does undoubtedly carry responsiblity to depict historical facts AS CLOSER TO TRUTH AS POSSIBLE.otherwise the very purpose of narrating history gets defeated.
