yes akshay has done well as the thief role but not as bikram rathore...the movie is bad i heard.

u hav not seen the movie just watch the movie and you would see how good he was as vikram rathod, just see the flash back action scene, and its way more cooler and better executed by akki than that teja guy who can't do any karate.

Actually Akshay's Vikram Rathore lacked the intensity of Ravi Teja. Fights were fine but the dialogues were really lousy. It was the flash back that was little bit let down. But otherwise Akshay excelled as the thief coz the other 2 remakes just copied Ravi Teja's thief portrayal but Akshay's comic timing was genuine & funny.
It's not joke that movie maker makes this kind of movies, but it's joke that Indian public adore these BS and let them earn 100 crore out of that BS. Dabaang,Wanted,Bodygaurd etc. etc.is complete BS and still people love them and even adore them. What a pity.

i dont agree...cinema is not for one particular audience...it should satisfy lot...so mix of movies are always healthy for the industry...c if u like it and ignore if u dont...

I agree that cinema is not for one particular audience, but look at the proportion of good movies and BS movies, if ratio is 30/70 or 25/75 then it is ok, but current ratio is 2/98 and what is worse that when some of this BS movies get huge hit all directors/producers want to make only that kind of movie so the ratio will fall further.

And this shows mindset of Indian people. World is not laughing becoz this kind of movie has been made but they are laughing becoz this kind of movie become huge hit that shows the poor appetite of public.

@shane, enuf, its time for u to shhhuutt up. dont pretend as intellectual. noone is laughing. its ur imagination. as long as the movie touches the emotions of the people, enuf. people are not rich enough to go and sit in bar and spend time. this is the only entertainment. if they were rich they would not be getting satisfied by looking at them in screen. they will do it in real. make them rich, their taste will automatically change.

@Shane, Movies are made for entertainment and relaxation. If it makes you Laugh, cry, angry makes you go through a variety of emotions, if u come out of the Hall and feel its paisa vasool....then nothing wrong.
If it does not do these then it is BS.

Completely true. Those scenes have been retained in all the previous three versions so no surprise as the trailers itself gave it away.

Good one time watch if you haven't seen the other versions. It's not upto the level of telugu version but 100 times better than tamil & kannada versions. Gr8 comedy scenes. Minuses are the songs & few lame dialogues otherwise it'll definitely entertain you. I went half-heartedly but surprisingly i've not many complains. Akki doesn't excel as vikram rathore coz the original character had raised the standards sky high but as a thief he just brought the house down.
its an entertaining movie n Akki at his best , nice change after Housefull2... it wl also cross 100 Crore mark... remember this gay raja sen had gvn single star last all action blockbusters...dhakkan kahi ka
