I m not much of a movie buff myself.so i dont care about either bollywood or south indian movies......however when i see the dubbed south indian movies on tv(i cant understand why those tv channels have nothing better to telecast n i watch them for the comic value)i cant help laughing out loud.too much over the top action n acting......if i admire any south indian actor for his acting skills its got to be kamal hassan and no one else......

its ur fault that u watched only action movies. U have to see the real dramatic and fantastic movies from south. dont tell much about action now. now u northies also no where behind. u accepted all south movies and their actions. eg. wanted, ready, singam, gajini. after all gajni started that trend.

In a way I have to agree with as you have watched dubbed movies. Usually dubbed movies are of action movies. Those are meant for masses of single screens.
Just see Salman Khan movies now a days, all big block busters especially on single screens.
Similarly in South India. South India has limited market as it has different languages in different states. It has multiplexes only in big cities. So single screens are more. That's why you see that kind of action in dubbed movies, those hits like Salman Khan movies. So not much difference overall India, whether it is north or south.
But there are good sensible movies in south too. You don't get to see them as dubbed movies as masses won't watch them in North. But in south they are watched by single screen audience too, though those audience are comparably lesser than action movies. That's why you dont get to see sensible dubbed movies. Basically TV channels which one are watched more, based on market value.
Does that mean North Indians love to watch pakka south Indian action movies than sensible south Indian movies? Don't they have any taste?
You don't have sensible thought process, that's why you think only in one direction!!

How They got the Surname Khan
by Ravindra Thakur on Oct 25, 2011 11:10 AM  | Hide replies

Khan was not a muslim surname ..

Khan was a surname from Mongolia,
Khan in Mongol language means Chief

Changez Khan was not a muzlim he was buddist animist from Mongolia , Khan was title of great chief , Subsequently Changez swept across central asia and conqured persia and Damiscus and destroyed much of the Muzlim world at that time.

The defeated subjugated people of Central Asian region of Afganistan and Pakistan took the title Khan the name of thier Tormenter.

Changez khan and Kublai Khan ( again not muzlim) sired many offsprings as a result of thier conquest and some people in Af-Pak claim that they have blood of Changez.
