Overhyped and dominating
by raman iyengar on Nov 07, 2011 04:33 PM  | Hide replies

Kamal is a overhyped actor and for his personal reasons he has spoiled the life of so many actors / actress. No heroine has shined after acting a movie with Kamal. He never co-acted or appeared in a guest role with anyone after his 30's. Always trying to kindle caste issues via his movies. Self potrayed person...he was aiming for Oscar but one he knew that he is not going to get it he starting abusing abt Oscar. Had ego clash with Shankar, A.R.Rahman, Mani Ratnam, Rajnikanth etc.,

Do not touch personnel life, everyone has their own failures in life. He is well known us as a actor and we need to talk about acting. if we dig ourself we have lot of ego and have lot of criminal mentality.

Kamal did a guest role in a pretty recent malayalam film called “Four Friends”. He acted in 25 malayalam films at the beginning of his career. He is probably the best actor India has seen.

List of movies with Kamal's guest appearances: Four Friends, Magalir Mattum, Duet, My Dear Marthandan, Daisy, Kadamai Kanniyam Kattupaadu, Andarikante Ghanudu, December Pookal, Manakanakku, Yeh Desh, Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu, Poikkal Kudhirai, Uruvangal Maralam, Agni Sakshi, Maattuvin Chattangale, Rani Theni, Ezham Rathiri, Naandri, Meendum Varuga, Thillu Mullu, Natchathiram, Saranam Ayyappa etc...

Mr. Raman Iyengar - first remove 'Iyengar' from your name and then speak about caste issues. Kamal is definitely not overhyped, he deserves it. He hasn't spoiled anyone....he is always open even with his personal life. He is the one who suggested Rajnikanth to act separately to shine as a single hero. Just because he is an atheist, don't talk non-sense.

he is indeed spiritualy confused athiest anti hindu, and his personal life is a mess as a result of that. he is paying for it bigtime. he has used and abused_ women. his daughter is also on a bender now and has no contact with him. but that said, he is indeed a great actor. being a great actor in any case does not mean he is a great human. most people on this forum are overawed by his star power. we indians remain _slavish in our mentality.

Apurva: why do we bother about what religion he follows or not adopt or why do you and me have to care about his personal life? He did not ask your or my advise, right. His personal life has nothing to do for us. Are we not able to enjoy his movies, whether it is serious one or laugher generated? What matters is wholesome entertainment, if that is satisfied, I dont care about their personal belongings.

Many Many Happy Returns of the Day
by mallaiah anchoori on Nov 07, 2011 01:35 PM  | Hide replies

A pleasant & an actor par excellent that he is,Kamal is the greatest asset to the South Indian film world. His action knows no boundaries when he acts in the films of Balachandar & K.Vishwanathan.It is very difficult to get such a versatility in a single actor like Kamala Hasan.True to the meaning of his name-Kamal Hasan-which could be heckling the lotus itself which itself is boastful of its beauty/elegance,Kamal too with his pleasant face & matchless action. His role of a press reporter & a dancer,a lover of Jayaprada & a friend of Sharath Babu in the Telugu Movie \"Saagara SangamaM\' is ever green & unforgettable.Whatever is the role assigned,he lives in it & does complete justice to it.if there is any synonym for action by a male,it is Kamalaasan. He is the greatest boon to the Telugu cine audience despite his being a Malayalee.Though concomitant with age he has plumed a little bit,his action talents remain unfaded even today.May GOD bless him with long long life & may he continue to entertain his fans for ever.Good Day & Good Luck Kamal!!

Malayalee??? Are you on drugs. This is the biggest joke I have ever heard this century. He is a Tamilian from Ramanathapuram district in TN. Even his community, i.e. iyengars have no linkage with kerala what so ever, even though there are some of them in karnataka.

It is a slip rolled while quoting along with the name of Balachandran. So much fuss need not be made.Try to be patient & control tempers first.

Dude... he is not balachandran, but k. balachandar. sorry about my comment on drugs, but nothing can be more irritating than spreading misinformation, which is why i got annoyed. hundreds of people will read your comment and will assume that kamal hassan is a malayalee. even though, this matter is of little significance, but when people misquote, sometimes even deliberately, while discussing political topics, you are spreading wrong information to prove your point in a debate.

Prem!!It is unfortunate that, you appear to be more bothered about trivialities rather than the subject.Which is the topic wherein I spread wrong information?
