you people say everyone GOD-Amitabh bachchan, Tendulkar, sai baba, amma,swami,saint and many others. First of all know the definition of God- The Creator must be of a different nature from the things created because if he is of the same nature as they are, he will be temporal and will therefore need a maker. It follows that nothing is like Him. If the maker is not temporal, then he must be eternal. But if he is eternal, he cannot be caused, and if nothing outside him causes him to continue to exist, which means that he must be self-sufficient. And if the does not depend on anything for the continuance of his own existence, then this existence can have no end. The Creator is therefore eternal and everlasting: "He is the First and the Last."
He is Self-Sufficient or Self-Subsistent. The Creator does not create only in the sense of bringing things into being, He also preserves them and takes them out of existence and is the ultimate cause of whatever happens to them.

South Indian still far behind ..when Amitabh just started.....how can u even compare some one to Amitabh. He is GOD of acting...grow up south Indians... reduce some fat from the tummy and from your brain...
Amitabh is really great actor(original superhero) he is more a fighter in his life(accident & lost in miss world n bussiness) he is a bussiness man too(he again revived ABCL) and he is a great anchor too( KBC ) he is staying n changing with time black, nishabd, pa n now bhtb. he is 68-- just watch the people of this age n see the difference. kamala hassan, mohan lal, mamooty are in different league and they had their opportunity to make big in bollywood but they do lack something that pulled them back. note:i didnt say they are bad actors they just dont look good and its looks funny when they are with actress half there age and very beautiful they look like there uncle its nobodys fault they make up with their acting but cant compensate for their looks and obese body. at the end commercial success and how many people on earth know u matters more for an artist. Amitabh is unquestionably a legend

Sorry to say, but he is nothing compared to South Indian actors like Mohanlal and Kamal hasan.. He survived and achieved this status as there was no competition for him.. He wud have faced real competition if he was in south indian industry.. In every character he behaved like AB.. south indian actors are real, natural actors..

i m a ni .... i agree south india has provided one of the best actors .... however AB is also good and somewhat in between rajni and kamal ... we should give everybody his due...

I think i liked Kamal Hassan. Only heard of Mohan Lal from my mallu friends. While Kamal Hassan was good, he could not have pull the audience. Movies are made to make money... so Kamal did not survive in North (which by the way is Mumbai, not North).
Must admit, most south indians will dismiss anything from outside their region zimply coz its not South india. But then, soon they will fight among each other... among tamil, kannadiga, and andhra. I consider mallus to be more tolerant.

he stand tall in the leauge of sanjeev kr. rajesh khanna, dharmendra, daleep kumar they all are gr8 actor.. so kamal hasan.. mohan lal dont stand any whare... grow up...
