SORRY, SPELL MISTAKE.
HE WANTS TO START QUARREL BETWEEN BIHARIS AND NON-BIHARIS, MAYBE MARATHIS. ALSO BETWEEN SOUTH INDIANS AND NORTH INDIANS AND HINDUS AND CHRISTIANS....he tried this before.
It can be recognised at a glance as to why this exercise is being undertaken by Rediff. It's the WHIP from their CEO - SRK. If you don't beleive, just wait n watch. No points for guessing that Rediff're going to hype some SRK film in the end & schmooze their Boss. After all, when Aamir acheives something, SRK has to follow & ape.....

& BTW, the most underrated enterprise now is the CWG (at least Kangress is hyping it to be so as a marketing ploy for their next election.)
While Lagaan was interesting to watch, it sounds kiddish to see a bunch of locals who does not have any idea about the game taking on a well qualified team and winning the match against them. The story was more childish.

absolutely true.. a daring theme in that time..kudos to yash chopra for handling such senstitive subject maturely
lakshya and swades are the most underrated films of all lakshya was one of the most inspirational films of all time which reflected the mindset of the youth While Swades, in which SRK has given his finest peformance, never went for the oscars (while Paheli which was a really bakwaas film did)

I agree that Lakshya and Swades were really good films. But it didnt get the appreciation it deserved b'coz it lacked the entertainment factor. Both the films were too serious and simple. Indian audience wants masala and masti. Thats the reason Dabangg is such a huge hit.

yes, swades was an "inspired film".. it is a frame-to-frame copy of KANNADA film CHIGURIDA KANASU. Even lyrics is copied. Chigurida Kanasu is adopted from the JNANPEETHA awardee writer Shivaram Karant's book. check the following link.

Definetly this is one of the finest films that have been made in the last decade...as a great film buff I have seen all kinds of films, but this film was truely able to show what is real patriotism all about. It does not show people holding flags and shouting LONG patriotic slogans or poems or songs. We may have come to the age of FACEBOOK and TWITTER,but still there are some parts of India where the basic needs of human being are still missing(read it roti, kapda aur makaan). This is one film that has truely reflected todays picture of post Independence India.Hats off to Aushutosh Gowarikar and all other cast and crew, who have worked in making such a fabulous movie. This film deserves much more than just an award.
