I am not a fan of Rajinikanth but this is the best Indian movie I have ever seen. I hope this movie will be screened not less than a year esp in TamilNadu. Unless the duo (Rajini & Shankar) joins again, it is highly impossible we expect this kind of movie in India in near future.

I have been reading all the anti-Endhiran/anti Rajni comments. There have been just too many of them...Some of you have posted the same 'negetive' comment in different rediff articles related to Endhiran. I am sure some of you have constantly been checking the other comments.
Plenty of articles on Endhiran are being posted in rediff well before the release and I see you guys have been following them.
This really proves that all you guys are curious about the movie and the kind of success this movie is going to meet. Thats good!
Your 'negetive propogation' will do only good for this movie as I expect the Rajnikanth fans want to support him even more.
he has a pan indian appeal! may be even international! I really want him to come into POLITICS! TN, Andhra, K'taka, Kerala, Maharashtra - people adore him! May be he should start a NATIONAL PARTY!! There is no credible opposition to the congress at this time anywhere! BJP, JD are in disarray! TDP and PRP are confused in Andhra/Telangana/Rayalaseema Leftists see no direction in Kerala! Shiv Sena is feuding in MH Karnataka - don't know how long BJP will remain in power!
So the best is to make use of RAJINI's MASS APPEAL - either join Cong-I or start a National Party to play as a responsible opposition to Congress! And RAJINI fits the bill to start and lead a party with National Appeal much like the Congress!!

I agree with u.Rajini should stop with this and enter the national scene.He has become well known face now.If he really needs to act again,he should do with Hollywood perhaps with Jacke chan..or else this is the RIGHT TIME TO ENTER POLITICS..PLEASE THALAIVA..COME TO POLITICS.WE NEED U..Dont think too much..Even I can suggest the name of the party..NATIONAL PROGRESSIVE PARTY OR INDIAN NATIONAL PARTY OR DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE PARTY

despite being somewhat of an srk fan i'd have to say that MNIK sucks..!! no wonder it didn't work for the indian audiences. nri stuff is not entertaining anymore(be it mnik,kites or Anjaana Anjaani now)..much rather take stuff like Don,Dhoom-2,Dabangg and 3 idiots which provide total entertainment despite being mindless..
