Syed Firdaus Ashraf needs to only check the boxoffice history to realise Hrithik has posted some of the biggest hits this side of 2000. The term 'fizzled out' doesnt apply to him if the audience response to any of his appearances is any indication. Only bcos Hrithik is not a Khan, he doesnt count as a Superstar in Syed's books.

Could be, I have not read the book. I would attribute the success of the movie to the story, script, lots and lots of nitty gritties that sew the story to the hearts of the audience and seamless action by almost everyone, each one of them played their role to perfection, right from the role of millimeter and Original Ranchod Das
thank god, we still have hope for indian cinema with great talents like rakesh roshan, hrithik & anurag basu. "kites" will be an extra-ordinary film, completly out of the box.we don't have to see cringeworthy films like "housefull" etc....
Housefull is on its way to becoming a mega hit, and the movie entertained us and we laughed till we had tears. Kites dosent look interesting at a ll, and there dosent seem to be any entertaining aspects to the movie. Movies are meant to be fun filled, but other than roshan, all the others are unknown. Deepika and Lara showed awesome comic timing in housefull, and we need actors like those to entertain

these people call themselves directors....by doing what? cut copy paste foreign concepts and scenes.... take a big hero to guarantee opening just add beautiful girl as heroine...show skin...put an item number..that too being copied these days....script and acting doesnt matter

To be very honest, and state the facts as they are, it's because of morons like you that crass filmakers like Sajid Khan survive. Frankly, an absolute stupid piece of brainless filmaking like Housefull would not be accepted even in the poorest and backward of countries in the world. So much for India being the next big thing !! God save the world - most of us are born with NO brains, dont know our ass from our elbow, are miraculous survivors, help total filth like Sajid Khan survive in every field, politics, administration, bureaucracy etc, infact we have made it the basic qualifier to be filth to survive in our great country, and claim that we are set to be the next superpower ! - is what we should all be saying.

Ohhh really. Was Koi Mil Gaya and Krish brainy movies? They were trash. Nobody would watch such movies abroad. Koi mil gaya? Was it not trash? That had aformula of lookalikes used in 70s. The fact is that we watch movies for ourselves not for how would the US or Europe percieve our movies. U ppl have a slave mentality. We like what we like, be it Houseful or any other comedy movie.
it is irony that after 3-idiots, there is no hit movie given by industry. My name is khan was only semi-hit. what happened to our industry. it is 5 month since 3-idiots was released.
