I have seen Yuva and Guru. It is one step ahead than the normal hindi movie. Mani knows the potential of junior B and good in exploring that. We love you Mani. All the best for Raavan.

Although not hindi original but dubbed films like anjali, roja, naygan(remade in hindi too and that too a hit), bombay, yuva, guru... u need more???
These movies were apreciated by Hindi speaking audience and appreciated

Excep Roja & mumbai which were remade in hindi from tamil, none of his movies were a hit

dude anjali, and its bombay not mumbai(the movie), guru was a hit, so was yuva.. dil se also was a hit...
The Bachchans are doing everything to promote the movie.Using social networking sites - twitter,blogs-as well as inviting big stars and generating right buzz in international media.They know the worth of dollars and pounds and the importance of good opening.
The film though is usual Rathnam movie with no content-story,dialogues,screenplay-and just visuals and non-melodious music by Rahman.A disaster, only saving grace is its low budget.

Giving Rahman oscar was a propaganda.They wanted more n more people around the world to see the filth & abject poverty shown in the movie.
The west like to see India as a land of slum and China as a land of kungfoo.They will never show the positive progress in recent times in these countries.
BTW Rahman's music sucked big time in that movie.Such b'ful lyrics by Gulzaar and we only heard ' jai ho' and no other word.
