Best Example that telegu cinema is deteriorating... UPO was a hit in Tamilnadu and Kerala because ppl wanted to see the acting talents of Kamal and Mohanlal and how they would pit against each other. But it seems there were no takes for Eeenadu. Why ? Because ppl dont recognize Venki's acting. They just want to see him dance with 18 plus heroines and do some superman fights. Another example...with some super dance and super super fights Ram charan is declared a superstart. But no where I could read anyone talking about his acting skills...

May be a part of ur statement/comment is acceptable abt telugu fans as they like more commercial in cinema...but the same actor has done a lead role in AMAV,not a masala telugu movie, (directed by selvaragavan ) and was a superhit one as I believe. Then coming to UPO, both in tamil and telugu, I feel that it won't need 2 superstars in the same film cast thought the script was gr8 but I think that It'll be a good hit if it was done by either a new face or upcoming talented heroes as normal man characters...and not need of Kamal or Mohanlal or Venkatesh since each of them have some thoughts about their heroes when they are going to see them(their performance) in screen. Im not teasing any actors here..Im just sharing my views, thats all.
Hi, Which angle you felt roja and bombay are telegu remakes...hahaha. Hardly there are any good movies in telegu. May be 1 out of 100 worthwhile movie which makes some sense. Otherwise, what you see is only head chops, rain dance, blood bath and superman fights in all telugu movies. Somebody told to be a superstar in telegu you dont need to know acting. All you need to know is dancing and rest graphics will take care...hahahaha...Come on audience imrpove your quality of viewing. Avoid crap movies and appreciate acting. Learn from legends Kamalhassan, Mohanlal,Amitab or even SRK for tha matter.
these days i became fancier for tamil directors to "think differently" while drafting climax. No wonder tamil movie industry is in a slump, could enjoy one or two movies in a year without tears.
those who stayed in hostels during higher education would certainly appreciate the effort on this movie. the director missed the opportunity to add some masala. he could have easily added a "vala meenukum" kind of song in the local bar rather than a "blank" song. this would have invited the mass to the theatre. the director really had a brave thinking for this climax. all the new comers were a good selection.
