Malayalam movie industry is heading towards the doom
by truthaboutlies on Feb 02, 2010 04:02 PM  | Hide replies

its been very clear by looking at the movies which was released during the last couple years that Malayalam movie industry is heading towards the Doom.Movie lovers can expect a time when Malayalam movies will be shown only during the Morning shows in major theatres and Hindi Tamil and Hollywood movies will be taking over the main shows..like in places Karantaka. Aging superstars and thier Fan clubs along with the bunch of talentless Directors who are making movies to massage the Egos of these stars are digging the grave for the Malayalam movie industry.. its a sad situation !these idiots should wake up before its too late ! below average Movie like Body Guard is running Full house all over kerala because Public just need some thing which is tolerable instead of watching dampsquib like Drona/chattampi nad/uncle John etc

No they wont wake up my friend.
They still telling their old good stories about Lohi, padmarajan,Bharanthan era and having high ego towards tamil, telugu industry. They are still interested in prasing Adoor,Shyamaprasad like directors for thei crap movies. They still thinking all malayaleesa re class audiences and they dont want movies like in tamil. But the reality is poor malayali audiences are keen to watch the revolution being taken place in other industries and the foolish actors and directors have no vision.

i dont agree with your stance. malayalam movies are much much better than tamil movies where actors perform stunts that would make hollywood actors scream and die.

like vettaikaran and hindi Drona I suppose? My friend c-r-a-p is crap be it hindi, malayalam or tamil. Malayalam had reached heights which are or were never reached by Hindi or Tamil even now from mid80s to mid 90s, but is in a downward spiral now which is natural. But since it has an inherent talent and a captive class audience it is a matter of time before Malayalam films picks up steam again.
