This is yet another extemely painful show of the victim and the marauder switching their roles. I don't believe such a man had to go to this length to sleep with a second-rate female, to hell with image, career, family and reputation. What might have happened is anybody's guess : this girl might have been found vulnerable and he went ahead and dared to workout some fun; that's about it. It takes beasty callousness and an alarming predatory sense on part of pseudo-moral media and parochial legal system to bedevil a man for the lone crime of being a celebrity and that he was humane enough for a confession. I don't think he deserves this treatment atleast until he is proven guilty.

Shiney is innocent until proven guilty.Even if he is proven one he will hopefully be a man to face the ordeal.But what happens to the hundreds of other rapists proudly roaming free.Poor Shiney is paying the price of being a celeb.And to add to that he wasnt offered in a platter, he has worked hard for it.I am with him.

I think you should not say poor to Shiney. Hi is guilty or not is other part. If he is guilty, he has ruled out his satisfactory personal/professional life for which I feel bad for him but at the same time, angry also. Only god, shiney & maid know who is guilty....

You really suck with your comments. A crime like Rape should have the strictest of punishments, I know of few countries where the punishment results to death if proven guilty of rape but in our great democratic country, the case will go on and on until the victim or the perperator die a natural death...
1. Had sex with a bollywood star, which is way above dream for a normal girl like her 2. She may have bargained with Ahuja for not telling this to anyone. 3. Ahuja insisted and she went to police in a hope that she can get at least a government Job.

Last week 3 boys gangraped a teenaged girl in a moving car in surat and rediff didnt even report it because all the accused were mussies and sons of policeman and here is a actor who could not control his lust has got so much coverage...... great going..... setting high standards of journalism!!!!!!
