This movie could have become a classic comedy
by Dr Bobbie on Jul 20, 2009 04:55 PM

It has all the ingredients to ignite a laugh riot. Circus, geenie, Mammotty as jeenie. , but a very weak script let the movie down. You can imagine a thousand comic situtations witht his genre. But the movie falls short. Even my 7year old so didnt like the movie excpet for mammottys bhootham.

Mamooty isn't he 75 years old now? I'm sure he has grand children. I met him 15 years back in Germany with his two grown up kids .

I dont care whether the movie is good or bad..I just dont want to see anymore of him in lead roles..I think only mallu movies have this syndrome..50 Yr old 'Heroes' going to college..Dude this guy was acting ever since I was five..now my generation has 5 year olds..still Mammoty is the Hero..Ever thought about father/grand father roles Mr.Mammooty?

who is comparing mammootty with brad pitt and bruce willis. they never do these kind of silly roles. Mohan lal is doing a few roles which suites his caliber. But this man!! alas.. he is after money I think. He is doing tricks to make his films hit.. poor guy. I can expect Jayasurya to do such films.. but not mammooty.. the 50 year old man can do roles that suit him.. we dont expect these types of silly comedy from the legend(as told by somebody in this chat).. shame on u mammootty.. now give way to the youngsters..!! pls

palicha- same as before
by axxo on Jul 12, 2009 09:38 PM

ok. i havent seen the movie. but i dont know how the reviewer approaching a fantasy film.
If it was a hollywood movie, then the same palicha might have praised it.
I still remember what he told about veruthe oru barya as it is too preachy. the main problem vth him what i found that he only projects the negatives of the film.
Atleast reviewer has 3 minds while writing a review. one in the perception of a common people. second what opinion he has about it as a viewer and the third in the view of movie technical person.
