Oh Yeah! Havent you heard of Tata Sky or Dish Tv or Big TV. Go and get a connection and swith on your TV and you will have all the media you want. In fact we have too much media in India. I dont know about your country across the border!!!
How is it that only stars get inducted to this territorial army and what is the publicity about? What duties are they going to peform and whom are they going to fight? Are they physically fit? Why is it that they join in their 50s? Is this only a publicity stunt for the armed forces and the star involved? How can a commoner join a territorial army and will he get such publicity?
Why there is so much talk on Mohanlal. What about the commandos who have come to Mumbai on 26.11.2008 to clear Mumbai from Pakistan terrorist. Their name are not seen anywhere. They are real heros and not Mohanlal. He is ok with his film acting.
he is indian first keralite second.any indian who do the service for motherland should be appreciated without any boundaries.doing the service for nation is greatest reward.

Sure. He will fight if war occures. No doubt. Mohanlal is such a person, who fight. In cinema or in real life. We can read the truth from his life.....

rdr you are right its a gimmick. But will the same service opportunity be offered to other citizens who are more physically fit than this Mohanlal to serve and do a better job. You cant expect more than this Antony (political characters. I feel bad for Army chief General Deepak Kapoor wasting his time for this. Damn the poiticians

You dont know about the Hon.Lt Col rank of TA. Firstly study about the TA and their functions, then send openions.. General Deepak Kapoor is not wasting his time. He is a full time Soldier of India and controls Indian Army very efficiently. Dont make commends on him and Defence Minister. A K Antony is a best Defence Minister since 1947. Please read real and political life. Then you can understand who is A K Antony. Dont see him as a 3rd class politician.
