A person gets respect not because of his language or state but because of talent and the right place he is in .Most of the talented kannada stars have moved out of karnataka after the initial torture because of this.Examples ,Nagesh, prakash raj, Arjun, and latest is kishore. If they stayed back they'll be wasted by the jokers of KFI whre only monkeys or son's of yeateryear monkeys can be heroes and mentally imabalnced cases will be directors and tasteless fanatics will be the audience appreciating crap as movies.

Artists do not have language/broders. Kannadigas have an in-built attitude to adjust/work with any environment irrespective of the language.
Now AR rahaman is busy in Bollywood and that doesnt mean that Tamil Industry has kikked him out b cos of it's dirty politics. If ur industry have quite number of hits in ur kitty with flying colors, yes, i can agree with ur remarks, but ur Industry is also busy in the race of remaking the movies. So why ur crying in this forum only.Do u have any Kannadphobia?

why huge and cry
by chandran on Jan 29, 2009 02:50 PM  | Hide replies

In almost all the languages in India, remake culture is present. But the media in kannada film industry openly accept and reveal, if a film is original or remake, while others(Hindi, Tamil, telugu etc ) do not openly acknowledge it.
So it is really rediculous y some Gan-D@@s open their chaddis here and bark like a wounded dag about kannada film industry

Hello,
Telugu moviers are dubbed and realeased in Tamil.Tamil movies are dubbed and released in Teulgu.
In Kannada dubbing in not allowed as per law and remakes are allowed.
Still if you feel that kannada movies are inferior than stop watching this column.Thats all...Simple.

Every one will defend his language and culture.
If chandran ,defending his language looks like mental imbalance case to you, then you people should consult psychiatrist because something is wrong with you people.
So start counting the number of dubbed movies in your industry.Lots of kannada movie are dubbed in Tamila and telugu as well.

Kannada movies are getting screwed up by remaking/coping crazy tamil and telegu movies in the last 4-5 years. Original movies are the way out. I think nearly 20 - 30 original movies did extremely well in the past 3 years after a massive hit of mungaru male. Atleast 200 very good songs came out in the past 3 years alone.

Heheheh most Rajani.s Tamil movies were photo copies of old Amithab hits.
Even the chandramuki is a Dialogue by dialogue and scene by scene copy of kannada film Apthamitra (original Malayalam Manichitratal)
Tamil films are breathing b cos of karnataka based actors like Prakash Rai(Prakash raj, Rajani, Arjun, murali and now Kishore).Better you produce your own crowd puller actor from ur origin.

Nope.., about 40% will come under this bracket (from last year's numbers of remakes in Kannada).
