its very hard to believe one of the superstars of Indian film industry has left us. may his soul rest in peace.I request those who doesn't know him, kindly don't make provocative statements. He was one of the flag bearers of Kannada and proud son of this soil who made his mark in 5 lingual films.he was admired by many actors in India. he was not only simple person, but also a spiritually driven person. what ever we heard of him during his younger ages are irrelevant and not worth discussing. he has over come that and has made himself realise. we need to put all those rumours to rest with him.Rather than clinging on to past lets, enjoy his works in more than 200 movies. hope all new comers to karnataka will learn Kannada and respect the sentiments and people here. India is not just Hindi and Bollywood. Its more than that.Learn to respect others, you will be respected. Jai HIND, JAI Karnataka, Jai Rajkumar, JAI VISHNUVARDAN.

as the title aptly says HE WAS INDEED A SILENT SUPERSTAR!! it is a BIG LOSS not only to the kannada film land but to all the film fraternity all over the world, for all those who truely admire movies !!!
As article says, I too covered the story by News Paper wallah he is conveying by words. I just got shocked, later confirmed by others that We lost good actor, human being of Karnataka. I hope without much disturbance his ANTHIM YAATRA takes place on B'lore streets.

finally, i saw one nice tamilian for the first time... keep it up boy...you as a person, really rock..
As a Tamilian who has spent most part of my life in Karantak, I offer my heart-felt condolences to the family of Vishnuvardhan and millions of Kannadiga brother. He was an exceptionally talented artiste who stormed into stardom in the very first film Nagarahaavu that I remember so vividly and warmly. If I remember right, he had done about three Tamil films also- 'alaigal' by the late veteran director Sreedhar, 'mazhalaippattalam directed by actress Lakshmi. He started off his career with an ad agency on KG Road called Blaze International as a client servicing executive. He could sing very well and would entertain his colleagues with the old Hindi melodies. Very versatile he was, but could shine only in commercial films though he had the talent to do off-beat stuff. A great loss
