We watch movies to get away from our mundane life style and get ourselves refreshed to face our routine better.. And Vishuvardhan as an actor and his movies never failed us.. He is one of the most handsome faces ever seen in Kannada cine industry and every movie of his carries a message while providing wholesome entertainment.. Its really a unbearable shock or his sudden exit and i am still under horrible shock and couldnt come to terms with his demise... We had grown watching his movies and inspired by him in many ways... He is such a down to earth person and so charming in any event.. Words fail me when I want to describe him in few words.. My message to all Vishnu fans and Kannada movie watchers - lets follow his footsteps and make this short life more bearable with our positive thoughts and action ..
Vishnuvardhan had moved into "ADHYATMA" offlate... so deep that he was laughing on hiself... He never took credit for anything.... He prayed for Universal brotherhood.... He was very practical and seeing LIFE LARGER THAN what he was made out by the media or by people.
This "Versatile" actor was a very different "HUMAN BEING" who showed how "Commercial" based actors should behave and lead their LIVES with VALUE and VIRTUES and doing something "GENUINELY" for the society and for people around US.
There has not been a single Instance where he has shown selfishness or hipocracy in his career spanning over 35 plus years.
All the KHAN's should take a LEAF out of VISHNU's book to know how to lead a life even after being a SUPERSTAR

When written about him in such a way. The way he kept his profile, i really admire. Though i'm not a person who knows kannada much, as a human being i've heard about him much and this article is just add on to that. Let his soul RIP.
One of the finest actors in Indian Cinema. The demise was totally unexpected and shocking. A legend of his own. Recently he was awarded the Filmfare Life time acheivement award. Great human being. We miss you . May your soul rest in piece.
A sudden end which even he did not expect. Lots can be said about Vishnu but in one word he was totally a Human in all his acts and deeds. He had a wonderful life with Bharati and was a very simple man down to earth. He is Rajini of Kannada Film Industry. It was sad to notice the conspiquous absence of Rajkumar family members at the funeral. Yeddi and his government gave the legend a befitting honour. The fans could have been in control but in situations like this, emotion ranks more than ethics. May his soul rest in peace.
Having followed Kannada film Industry for long, I was moved by the honesty and simplicity of the Legend Vishnuvardhan as brought out in this essay. I am sure many will also take note of the fact he and Bharti adopted two daughters and raised them well.Icons and celebreties set an expample to others when they adopt and raise girl child. Hope may of his ardent fans will highlight this and makee the society to reach out to the girl child.
Bollywood does not represent indian cinema .I hate the word regional cinema -Telugu Kannada Tamil and Malyalam each have their own distict identity with their own stalwarts adorning the screen .They have warmed up the hearts of the cinema goers with their potrayals . Vishnuvardhan an icon of Kannada cinema is not known beyond the borders Karnataka and tamilnadu is a charismatic and fine actor .Thanks to rediff for giving a glimpse of the talent of the departed soul.My his soul rest in peace .
Actors are nobodies. All they do is go before the camera and pull certain faces and say a few things written for them. It does not mean they are any of the things they portray before the camera. In any other profession you do something real. What actors do is false, make-believe, a lie. I can understand it being given some value, like magic or acrobatics, but to worship these false idols is the absolute liit of human depravity.
They create magic. You are talking like you're a somebody and as if you've done something great. I'm not sure whether you indeed are, looking at the way you insult others. You're just sitting and typing to pass time.
Actors and humans like Dr.Vishnu happen once in a lifetime. I am thankful to have been in this generation to see him and laugh and cry as a child.
Have you made even one person smile from the heart even once? Great actors manage to do that atleast to one person atleast once. That is enough achievement.
So please, respect every profession. Respect your own time and mind and stop polluting it with such thoughts.
