Rehman's music is without good lyrics. It is a like making dosa without urid dhal. I asked one musician who has worked with the yesteryears lyricists like Sahir , Shailendra , why is it like this now. Pat came the reply. This generation want shit lyrics and good music. So they get what they deserve. I replied " Can you call this as " Perfumed Shit". He replied " Bilkul Sahi Kaha Aaapne"

no doubt Ghajini music is better than Yuvraj. however it's true that now a days Rehman is not producing a good music. In recent past Shankar-Ehsan-Loy, Pritam and Vishal-Shekhar are the most consistent music directors. U like it or not, but Rehman is no more ace music director and his can't guarantee hit music.

I am not claiming Pritam as a genuine music director. he regularly copies couple of songs from here and there in his each album. but there is no chance to many of us to go and listen to Korean music. So whatever music Pritam gives, it's good for humming and it goes hit. If u want to get original products, then should not worry about Ghajini too. Better u watch Memento.

Yes bollywood habituated to listening lifted songs from VS and pritam. AR rehman is considered a world musician. It does not suprise that some of us feel he is outdated. We never had the taste or never can understand the quality and music given by him. And more over Amir khan is not the one who works with outdated people. It is just very easy to comment.

Ur comments are irritating and shows why we always fight. This is a open world and anybody who is unique and is exceptional would rule and not because one is a south indian. Rahman is a wonderful musician and hence is successful and let us leave it at that.

The renowned karnatic music , bharatanatyam are the roots culture of Tamilnadu,( South india) , and now the popularly known as indian music. Bharatnatyam is the most dificult and wonderful art in india,
no one can dare to challenge their (tamilians) heritage or culture which is in the world called as indian culture.

I don't understand why people on rediff forums keep fighting over religion or region.
We are Indians dude. Let us live together happily. If you are happy by calling south Indian music as Indian then also its ok. After all it is Indian. But if you say anything which belongs to north india is not indian then you are very wrong in the approach my friend.
