Shreya's outfits
by Sameer on Jan 29, 2008 09:08 PM

Shreya's outfits in the movie 'Sivaji' were far worse than this one...why didnt these fools object to the movie then?

They knew if they took on Rajnikanth's movie they would have been kicked on the streets!...these are cheap tricks by tamil nadu politicians.

Obsenity and Shreya.
by Rahul Singh on Jan 29, 2008 09:07 PM

We are once again mired with obscinity controversy. Who is there to decide the obscenity rekha. When actresses are ready to shed clothes at the drop of hat and sex starved viewers are enjoying these heroins with lust then what is going to stop this nuisance. Perhaps the law makers at Centre and States are them selves in this trade and enjoying every bit of it. All the sensor laws are an eye wash.
Some one has to bell the cat and bring such acts under strict control.

Dress code

If this assembly has nothing else to debate on the it should be dissolved for ever.
It is entirely up to an individual to wear what they like.
Can this T Velmurugan proove that his un married daughters are still celibates, can we have a proof. after all it is against India code
Clean your own house first T Velmurugan before you launch an attack on others.
may i also remind yo T Velmurugan that all televisions are equipped with a button called On/Off switch. It switches the television off.(if you don't know)you just have to press it. and hey presto the magic of no picture on the screen is invoked.
MAKE USE OF IT T Velmurugan rather then making others lives miserable.
If you don't want your family to enjoy don't put your boot in other as well STAY OUT OF IT or some one might remove you one day this could be your downfall.
And all that goes for this Pattali Makkal Katchi organization as well.

Dressing up is one's way to exhibit "Freedom of expression" and every individual has got their choice on how to dress up, I think everybody knows to identify the fragile line between decent looking and indecent exposure when they are dressed and if some people would like to ignore that fact for any reason (carrier or personal) its still their "Freedom" to do so....afterall its their personal life, one can screw it up however they want... that aside why are the people supporting the liberal western clothing making "fun" of the Indian traditional wear?, do you guys believe making fun of one own culture is part of being "Modern", wooow hats off to your thoughts.

You are correct in a way. In western culture there is a TV channel for various subjects. But in a upcoming country like india some parties like this is being shown in the mainsteram channels... And this is a problem we can straight away draw a line here between older gen and younger gen. They do need separate TV spaces. Dont they?

These politicians are basically rowdies and cheap fellows who have become MLAs and ministers by sheer Money and muscle power. Now they have started preaching morality. These are the same guys who lack civilized behaviour and abuse their wives, go for cheap thrills with prostitues, dont respect women, use filthy language in public.

Men should stop urinating in public and show their privates to all and sundry! That is much more disgusting than any of this... Men in Tamilnadu should wear their lungi so as to show their boxer shorts..
This can happen only our Tamilnadu! Politicians may sleep with these same bombshells but cry hoarse on ridiculous things such as this one.. Huh!
IMO, what Shriya is wearing is absolutely classy.. The only mistake she made was not dressing for the occasion! You should wear this to a westernized party and not at a pro-Dravidian film celebration ceremony! She was the odd one out and poor thing, she is bearing the brunt of this ridiculousness!

Need space for everyone. People do change due to various fators and when u get old probably you too may change. No need to be that fast. The mumbai molestation was a direct result of a wrong culture and our unpreparedness for that occasion

The pro-Dravidianness to the ceremony was due to the CM presenting away the awards.. So DMK cadres would have thronged the auditorium..
Nevertheless, this is one reason why I hate to get back to Chennai, which I love otherwise..

Pardon my grammar! Did not proof-read it!
I meant
"Men in Tamilnadu should not wear their lungis so as to show their boxer shorts! This can happen only in Tamilnadu! "

Wait a minute! Where did this north-south divide come all of a sudden?
I hail from South India as well, I am just pointing out problems in our system.. Criticisms, as long as they are constructive, should always be welcomed!
Stay away from all this defensive filth! Do not talk about what happens elsewhere..

I believe atleast public figures should maintain some dignity for them selves. They should have some decent sence of dressing.
But now a days every things are governed by money and many can walk naked to grab a role in a movie or get a start in movie.

certainly public figures need to adapt dress code atleast while attending public functions and before dignitaries. the way in which ms.shreya dressed at the function was very awkward and dirty and resulted in unnecessary comments and arguments. she should have avoided.

Shame on the Politicians. What "Pattali Makkal Katchi" and Who "T Velmurugan", must check his Cable operator to know the Channel he watches more and Video store to know the Class of Video he loves watching.

Come%u2019 on give a break. Leave the Free Citizen of INDIA to Choose from their FREE WILL

Dear Santosh,

Kingdoms imposed dress codes in the past, Corporates do it now... We can have a healthy debate on what to wear for various occasions... No need to just screw it all.

Dont be stupid, people should know what they need wear for public function. The ladies cannot take things granted.Let them wear in private function or party and its their personel not in public function , when all senior people in industries are taking part. There should be some etiquette .The PMK is correct and I support them.
