Dear Major Ravi, Please don't embark on another commando story. "Aran" starring Jeeva in Tamil (dubbed "Keerthi Chakra" in Malayalam) and another film, which were both on commandoes, were utter croppers. Come up with something original and which families can enjoy, or better still, watch a few Hollywood flicks and learn from them.

when u say keerthichakra is utter flop one can see how stupid u r.Aran is ofcourse look like theatre drama.Keerthichakra even though is the original of Aran its a world of difference compared to aran!!

Seems you got ur facts wrong.
Keerthichakra was the original film and Aran was the dubbed tamil film. Aran was not a success, but Keerthichakra was a hit.
According to you and mohanlal haters, you blindly assume his movies are flops whn they are indeed hits or moderate hits.
People like you are fools to make Om Shanti Om a hit in kerala and a good film Flash and some other grt films of lal recently i.e "Paradeshi" flops.
In kerala, i am fan of both mammooty and lal. In tamil i am fan of kamal,ajith and vijay, rajinikanth. The two groups of people are poles apart in terms of movies.
But tht does not mean i neglect and hate films of other stars of different genres.
In hollywood the americans have impacted the whole world and their presence is all over the world in evry issue,incidents in politics and economy. So an interesting movie abt gangsters,politicians in america as well as abroad are ther in real life and ther ar so many insipiring stories. So hollywood has much better stories to convert to movies.
In india, rarely we care abt these stuff passiontley as americans do.
Sure we indians watch news abt every stuff thts goin on in the country, but we are not passionte and instd we like gossips from movie stars home. And we love to watch soap operas.

With all due respects to stalwarts (past and present) of Indian cinema, I feel when it comes to action (not dialogues) we have a long way to go vis-a-vis Hollywood/Chineses/Russian/French cinema.
