Well said Govind, I felt exactly the same.
Like commercial news channel, rediff is also believing in sensationalize news rather believing in quality of news despite of having large reader/user base

Dhoni is appointed as captain to play cricket and not romance. Its an insult to the game and the public. Why playesrs don't perform, this is the best example one can see. Dhoni is wasting his talent. He better quit cricket and join bollywood.

Ajay Rao should know that Dhoni is young enthusistict handsome young man If he develops relationship with Dipika it is quite natural.Dhoni is first human being and then cricket captain.

It is his personal life, let him do whatever he wants.

But, if he is not performing give him rest from the indian team. That should be the policy.

Dedication is rarely seen in the players. The BIG-3 are exceptional. Public not to be overwhelmed, youngsters have to prove by the game.

If Dhoni moves around with the bollywood bimbos, his performance will be affected both on both the pitches - indoor and outdoor.

Wait and watch. Dhoni will fail like anything. Already we have seen some hopeless strokes from him so far in few series. He's not Dhoni, but DHOBI

Hello Mr.Ajay,
everybody has 'Personal' life. Dhoni has his personal life. If he wishes to have a date with Deepika, what's the problem. All we have to see is if he performs well on cricket field. We need not 'worry' about his off-filed activities.

Thanks,
- satish

by Jumbo Genius on Oct 20, 2007 04:44 AM  | Hide replies

I think rediff.com is trying to get some cheap hits by using a caption as the one in this article. Come on people.... Dhoni met her for a pvt screening and invited her for a match.... thats courtesy! what would it be like if he only invited her for his birthday party.... if they were friends... wonder what the media would say then.... maybe the news will be "Dhoni-Deepika decide to live in!" can we just spare people.... please and mind our selves!
