A good movie
by Gutur Gutum on Oct 08, 2007 09:32 PM

Let there be no doubt about it. Johnny Gaddar is a really good movie. The title may suggest it is a B grade movie, but it is not. There are hardly any good movies in the thriller/crime genre in India. A welcome change for sure. Keep it up

Johny Gaddar

It certainly is a good movie and the story is told the way James Hadles Chase told his stories. Even I faintly remember one of the entertainers of James Hadley Chase, "Strictly for Cash".

the movie is good

This movie is good.. it deserves all the promotion that it deserves ( though I think it is a little too late).. if such films do not do well, nobody will make such films and that will be our loss.
The second half drags a bit, but yes, it is one of the best movies to be released this year.. It is unconventional and yet entertaining.

some kinda campaign
by SUNNY RAWAT on Oct 08, 2007 08:50 PM  | Hide replies

Hope its not some kind of campaign to promote the movie, all of a sudden a out of turn review, that too a very flattery one by our Mr. Raja Sen Babu, then 15-16 good comments by "public"..yes rediff..how much you got paid for by the prodcers..?

sure reads like a campaign, the comparison to hrithik seals the doubt for me.. "more cerebral looking" what's that, does hrithik look like an idiot?

kuch bhi likhte hain paise ke liye.

Johnny Gaddar certainly is one of the fine movies released this year. Good story, thrilling. Not on the edge but very different n interesting indeed.

Could have been really cool but somewhere something was amiss.

Both Johnny G and Manorama 6 feet really different genre movies. Quite interesting indeed.

Great Movie
by Mahindra Bangar on Oct 08, 2007 06:48 PM  | Hide replies

It was indeed a great movie and a treat to watch. Atleast 100 times better than the rusty Salman-starrer Partner or other movies of the so-called superstars

what a pity that the ignorant public is fooled in to watching the crap movies of good-for-nothing superstars

This is a 5 star Movie
by sachin bajpai on Oct 08, 2007 06:43 PM

In my view it is a 5 star movie. No flaws at all. If anyone feels it could have been better, it is just that he does not feels the same way as the director. I think the biggest strenght of the movie is that it does not wastes time in useless description of the characters, theft plot etc. It is assumed that they are there.. just focus on the main story.. amazing
