The Music Maestro had performed at the Hollywood Superbowl very close to a year ago from now, so this is not his first time in 3 years in North America. And 75% of the audiences were non-Indians dancing to his ecstatic music ! Divya

most of time time rahman's music seem to emerge out of sampled sound and if you have any idea of sampled sound the word "DONT STEAL" would be a misnomer

hey, music which is as good as Rehman's cuts across all barriers, for example, the music of Roja, even BEFORE it was dubbed in hindi became an all India hit and had everybody humming tamil songs! so u see, even if he had not gone west, he would be as famous as he is today!!

why can't we enjoy all of them ... this is not a mark system (illayaraja or ARR or RD?) .. this is a grade system ...
It is awful to go through such a lightly written piece with so many ill-spelt words. Better have some editor appointed to edit any article before uploading it on your site.
They act...they have fun and earn crores...Losers like you all fight on who is better...all are small Nau-tanki type guys who die for public attention and then when they get it, do everything to avoid it..and fools like u chase them for autographs!
There are bigger problems...try to donate your movie ticket worth money to some good cause rather then encourage these illogical hollow people...

even though I am always fascinated by RAHMAN'S technical depth and heavy rhythms, I need to admit some times he experiments too much and makes the song sound absurd.

Absurd on what sense? If god hasn't produced only genius ppl on the earth you call his work and absurd? Creativity is one such thing.
Most of the people who have a good sense and taste for Music would definitely disgaree to what you say!! Anyways, this is your perception and the way you look at things, and I hardly have any problems with it.. But A.R rehman is Like GOD.. His music in quite a lot of his films is just.. "Divine".. I like Illayaraja too and have great respect for his music, specially some of his instrumental music albums.. Pritam could have been good if were not so 'INSPIRED' by local bengali bands and stuff..He is just a copy cat.. Not someone to be compared to Rehman, atleast!!
