They are all stuck in their 'Punju' roots. Caught in their London homes and New York apartments. Mired in a web that is as artificial as it is saccharine sweet.
I can understand if one wants to make mindless entertainment. But the same thing being served year after year in the same bottle?
Take big stars, take big locations, take big song sequences, take a large PR dose across media, and then finally, when we people pay our hard earned money to see a film, what we get is more of the same.
What 'global appeal' are we talking about? Just because rich NRIs in USA/UK identify with our films? Where is the diversity in scripts, the richness of performance in our films?
These guys are so similar to cricket. Just as blind faith for cricket has left games like hockey penniless, blind faith on YRF, KJ, etc has left other film makers crying for exposure.
Give me a Bheja Fry any day. Make me a Khosla Ka Ghosla please. Spare me from your Rahul Malhotras and Rikki Thukrals.

One of the most sensible comment on this board. Thank god, there are people like "Shantesh Row" who haven't lost their senses!!! One more thing I think "Khosla Ka Ghosla" was one of the most sensible movie that came out of rotten bollywood in recent times.
it can nominated for the worst movie n can actually win tht prize......totally faltu movie...no story....nothng,......hw can someone like YRF can make such a hell like this....total money waste and the most imp time...i wan to shoot those peple who says movie was cool....gud.....

I think varun expected tooooooooo much before he went to watch movie.
I think *** rating can be easily given to the movie. Abhi,Preity,Lara,Bobby all have done justice to their roles. Script was not great but good locations, funny moments, great music makes it a PAISA VASOOL movie.
I am not sure why the people are making so much fuss about the movie, the movie was 'Cool'...I think reviewers are obviously biased towards Shaad Ali...the movie was totally not like Bhatt movie house which is hack from Hollywood...the movie was totally original...pure entertaintment....

Thanks for the correct market view. JBJ would not have been the hit just like that. CK was branded crap by the same people. It is going great guns.I saw that twice. For JBJ I was in two minds intitially. I would definitely watch it this week.
IM really yet to come out of the hangover of a pathetic cocktail movie called JBJ. Look at the storyline, oops there was no story, super overacting by Abhishek and Amitabhs clowny act. All of them almost wearing the same clothes throughout the movie. For GOD sake in this time where we are seeing movies like Rang De Basanti, Ta Ra Rum Pum etc, subject, storyline and sense must be made or else make a total comedy film so people enjoy. This movie has thrown the YRF hype out of the window. I saw the movie in Dubai where it costed me around Rs 3000 to watch with my family and let me tell you what a waste. Please remove that 1 star also and make it 0.

Feel very sorry for you. If you think Abhishekh is overacting then what is acting? Actually you had to go to the theatre because your family wanted to see the Bachchans. You may hate the Bachchans but see your family likes them. So your Paisa Wasool. Buy the DVD and watch it again.

anwar you must be hired by YR to be promoting AB baby's terrible acting. and are you trying to Con ppl into buying the dvd since the film is a flop... why dont u buy dvd's and distribute it free at railway stations... maybe someone will feel sorry for you and see the film... and you will have done your service to YR and AB....

Hahaha what a joke you have made about Tara Rum Pum being a sensible movie. It was the worst movie i have seen this year so far and thats the reason the movie didn't do so well and yeah you will argue that it was superhit, blah, blah but, the truth is that it a flop.
One of the worst films by YRF.. simply pathetic. first half was intolerable.. second half is somewhat better than the first but still not good enopugh.. overall fals flat.. Miserable!
