What about the family of people killed!
by praveen on Jul 31, 2007 12:58 PM

here we are only concerned about dutt and his freedom....Do we all agree the pain of death of a loved one is not negotiable with anything in the world...If guilty should serve the sentence under the law, if not guilty then its up to mr dutt...

why so much fuss ?
by rajesh on Jul 31, 2007 12:20 PM  | Hide replies

If Sanjay is punished why should we bother so much just because he is an actor ?. He was not a minor when he committed the crime, and he must have known what he was upto. Do we have the same level sympathy for scores of other criminals as well ?. Film producers may pray for his freedom because their money will sink if he goes to jail. but were they sucking their thumbs while signing him - thta they did not know that he may face punichment ?. why shed tears for all these jokers ?. Wake-up friends, there are more worthy things to worry about. Medai sells on hype. but lets be realistic and fair in our approach and judgement... (Do anybody want him as a role model for his/her children ?).

whatever you written for my sanju.... i pray to god to put you in same situation in your lifetime.
its easy to put fingers in others eyes but try once putting in self eyes.
Rajesh, i believe when you would get threatning calls for your family from underworld, troubled on extortion, media raping your privacy,i think you would say your family members....be cool, be practical, this is life ...isn't it?

You don't have to curse so much brother... Just think of those hundreds killed for no fault of theirs... I too would be happy if he is set free by the court after proving innocent. He is not my enemy at all. My only point is that we need not show so much concern if the man is guilty.

He should be released
by Asmi Mahesh on Jul 31, 2007 12:14 PM

Comparing his good & bad deeds, he should be released by the court as he has not done the worst crime like others involved in 1993 blast case

Sanju,

You are great actor and lovable to thousand of fans.

But those died into Bomb blast ware also loved one of some body. Many mother last their son, Many wife last their husband and many kids Lost their dad forever. I don't think their wound will heal . But punishment to you will definitely help them to console.

Under the blast case...court made him free but for posession of illegal arms, are you sure that Sanjay Dutt is the only person in india who possessed illegal weapons no other person have those? Now a days when taking life of people has become so easy, nearly each person has a weapon. Nomatter legal or illegal, few use it for antisocial acitivities and other for self protection. Raid houses of all members of political parties, you would find many. The administrative system of the country is aware yet blind and speechless. Though, sanju is celebrity and gentleman, putting him behind the bars is the safest short cut to fame.
If sanjay is penalised...the world will witness the saddistic temperament of a country.

Punishments are made to arouse the feeling of guilty in the heart of Offender, it helps him to come on the right track of society.

Today, you say Sunju baba is a Gentleman. I hink it is all because he has spent 16 months in Jail. He has become more fearful and responsible towards society. Don't forget his days when he was young and BAD(boy).

Previous punishment has helped him , and new punishment will help him more. It shud also be taken as a signal to other Bad kids of rich parents.

remember,
criminal is just us everyone but who was caught,
it doesn't matter how many others exist,
if you know anyone, report about him to court,
dont shout here, its of no use

Taking this further.. all celebrities, politicians and the so called "influential" should also be enquired into for their possession of weapons. Similar treatment should be meted out to those who think they can escape the judicial system.

What do you mean? Supporting terrorism and helping terreorist is the biggest crime. And u think that 16 month of jail is enough for this this crime. How can u forget those serial blast in dec 1993. He is not become gandhi by following gandhigiri in a movie. He is still a criminal.

The law should take its course. No individual is bigger than the rule of the land. Only then judiciary will have some credibility.
