...now that INDIAN REPRESENTATIVE won BIG BROTHER........as she was REPRESENTING India hope she will donate money to PRIME MINISTERS FUND or to some charity....after all SHE was representins INDIA...huh...
I am a Indian living in the UK. I was watching the Big Brother Finals with interest. The way Shilpa handled the situation inside the house (during the bullying) as well as after she won the show, was superlative. Hats off to her. She made Indians proud. I see that some people are sending messages why she had changed her statement on Racial Abuse, and that she took advantage of that issue. I will only tell them, that poor Shilpa was subjected to a very bad abuse and bullying, which any of we Indians would have felt humiliated and disgusted. They are probably not aware of this since they might not have seen the episodes. But the way Shilpa handled the situation with dignity, and inspite of the abuse to forgive the others, makes her a true Indian. In short, Shilpa has shown to the westerners what true Indianness is, although many of we Indians ourselves dont live up to that level of Indianness.

A great opinion. I agree with this to the fullest because there is no great point winning in a programme that is highly unpopular. Instead she would have made us proud by winning a more popular and intellectual programme. It infact sets us to think that all the noise created regarding Jade Goody was just for more popularity and come up winner in this manner.
Does this issue require this kind of time and space in the media? It is high time we think of more serious issues that can put India on track of development.
winning &loosing is not thing as i say , Racism is concerned whites are superior comparing to Asians in genl,I feel pity for jade goody. She is a local person of Uk.public voting for shilpa is not a favored justice as such she knows every citizen never call indian but call on caste ,belong to other state according to me jade should not be removed from the show but she must learn global culture. raj
at least shilpa is getting credit for doing something. Its a breather from the never ending hogwosh that abhi-ash are creating on all the channels and media..congrats shilpa..you deserve it.
She won the game show big brother by fooling the general public into thinking that she was victimised by her competitors and that she was racially abused , while all this was just a very clever ruse to increase the game shows popularity as well as her own popularity at home. Now because of her sham victory she has Achieved more popularity and money than she would have obtained for a dozen of her B grade trash Hindi films.

I completely agree with you. See on hearing her the whole nation supported her. PM has requested britism parliament on the actiion. After all this she reversed her statement that she is not thinking racisim is used. What she is thinking. Now these pelople are very happy that she has won. Shame on the people who support her.
We actually have to make a enquiry on her why she reversed her statement and punish her. Let this be a example to all others who foolish their home country.

i completely agree with you. i feel the racism PLOT is purely planned and executed well by the CHANNEL 4 people..ya i know there is some risk the channel need to take but they got lot to gain from the rish..no GAIN without RISK...i feel a winner SHOULD not BE CHOOSEN because someone feel SYMPATHY to her..A winner surely mut be eligible to be a winner on her personal EFFORTS !!! in that sense SHILPA failed miserably !

i support it also!Shilpa winning is a outcome of cheap publicity, fooling in name of racism and making advantage of innocent public. She failed miserably in eyes of many indians who r mature enough to see truth.
