i think Raja Sen gives much better review than Sukanya. She is really hopeless. the rating of this film should be 1*. most faltu movies and wastage of time and money. Guru was okay...but 2nd half was bore and specially the song," ek lau ek muft" was bakwas. still it could have been good if the song sequence was done by some extras and abi and ash were sitting with their babies and enjoying the dance. plzzz don't see s.e isk. faltoo film!!!
Salaam-e-ishq...the title sounds strong and the promos looked extremely promising.But we were proved totally wrong.The movie is annoyingly lengthy and bit of a drag.It started ok but completely fell apart after a while.Priyanka chopra(more of a star than an actress)was constantly over acting and salman with his fake accents and twangs and ofcourse his "oh so slow" dialogue delivery was putting everyone to sleep.Govinda,wasnt to impressive in his "obssesed with white skin" part.Sohail Khan maybe was a part of a "buy one get one free" package that came along with salman khan,so its ok that he didnt have much to do.Akshay Khanna was a relief and interesting to watch.But it was John and Vidya Balan who were actually in a role which needed acting and attracted the viewers.And last but not the least Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla did justice to their parts.Should have used them more. Over all a loosely made movie,which otherwise had a good potential.Too many cooks spoil the broth...perfect example,Salaam-e-ishq.By the way does this movie have an editor???
its a amazing movie but asusual there are few couple always looking cool like john vidya couple looking awsome.sohail esha couple always looking funny punjabi couple,,so overall movie was good but the matter is length so go and enjoy...buye to all
Salam-e-Ishq is good, one time watch but yes, too long. Salman looks real good especially in 'Tenu Leke' song but is left unused in the movie. Cudnt get a chance tpo do much. Good try Priyanka! But over acted too. John & Vidya share a good chemistry.Govinda is Govinda :-) Akshaye Khanna!!! Pls ...why dont you get a wig..Juhi Chawla & AK did justice ti their role. Also the new girl Anjali. Salam-e-Ishq doesnt maintain the continuity & flow. Seems to be in bits & pieces like Ramgopal varma's Darna Mana hai..Anyways, the movie starts off well, picks up till interval but post interval becomes a bit balistic... All in all an OK movie.
A movie that is 3.5 hours long ... can\'t be a good movie. A director and/or writer might have infinite things to say, but fitting it within 2.5 hours is the acid test that separates the good from the ordinary. The makers of this movie have failed this acid test.
This is a great movie !!! should have gone to the Oscars ahead of Water !!! Salman was fantastic....I cried a lot during the movie....so heart touching ~!

looks like u r a good Bluffmaster..don't con people with faltoo senti ... come on accept tht movie was only few times good in parts..that in no way symbolises a good movie....and saying movie is good in parts (by me) also does not testify that it could be watched at the expense of 3.5 hrs melodrama....hell with this type of movies
