Just a few days back, I read the news that Padmini has decided to go back to India. I was happy about that.I have always been a fan of the actress' lovely dance performances and expressions. Her performance in the movie "Thillana Moganambal" was one of her finest. Her emoting abilities have no match. It is really sad to know that the actress has left for her heavenly abode. May her soul rest in peace.
In my opinion, Padmini had one of the most captivating and expressive faces in Indian Cinema. Its heartening to see how destiny had her return to India during the last days of her life. On Rediff, I had read about her returning to India for good, only a month back. Think her prayer of being active till the last day of her life was indeed answered. Hope she got to meet her old friends and rekindle her sweet memories in filmdom before it was time to depart.
May her soul rest in piece. She will always remain in our hearts!!!
padmini was excellent actress of yesteryears.iher one of the last movies in malayalam nokketthattha doorathu kannum nattuu was a movie to remember because of her versatile acting.it has moved me many times in the movie. may her soul rest in peace
Padmini, of all the sisters was very agile and people were excited when they saw her on screen. She is a true dancer nad there was no match for her. Her best dance was the base for her best acting. Padmini with all the 'Bhavanas' enthralled all Tamil hearts. May her soul rest in peace.
Its really depressing to hear about this.... Padmini has been one of the best till date and will be for years to come... her skills cannot be matched by anyone for years to come... I am too young to comment on her skills but to be honest I have been one of her big fans.... she was beautiful and a great dancer, but thats not all... Her movie which made me cry for days was Poove Poochudava....she proved that she can perform with a strong role even at the age of 55....I always loved the chemistry between sivaji and padmini and I would say I wasnt lucky to have born during their prime period.... ofcourse thanks to their movies, I could still watch them even today and will be watching them for years to come... we miss u a lot Padmini... Praying for ur rebirth as actress, dancer and lovely women...
