Think of don being remade with Hrithikh or akshay or abhisheik it would be a total disaster, but now shahrukh is starring in it and it looks gr8 and all of us hope to see it. Amitabhiji is a legend on his own......shahrukh is one on his own.....why compare two legends? Have we ever compared Mother tresa to Eintein? No ! same way it wrong to compare any other two legends. Shahrukh will do very well in Don!

Yes - U R right - If SMALL B would have done DON - atleast the comparison would have been between FATHER & SON.
I have a great faith in SMALL B (ABHISHEK) can do BIG B's AGNEEPATH, DEEWAR, AND ZANZEER - These three movies if any director makes it they have to make with ABHISHEK (Small B) who has developed himself and can stand in fron of Big B.
Small B(Abhishek) lambe race ka ghoda hai. Till now no director has exploited the anger role which is inside him.
No Way ! No doubt that Shahrukh is a Very Good Actor, but as far as comparison with Big B is concerned i think thats Bullshit ! I saw promos of Don, I felt like Laughing, to see Shahrukh Dancing on the tune of "Khaike Pan Banaraswala". I think Farhans Formula would have worked if he had casted Small B instead of Shahrukh. Well all the best to Farhan and SR too.

foot size 12 se kya hota hai? sachin is heighted 5.4 so is saleel ankola a better player?lol, well also consider that the guy who acted as amitabh's son in a recent movie which had teh song mere 'munna zara sunna' is taller than amitabh, so u mean to say he must b a better actor than amitabh? well if not, then y r u applying such logic
The Big B's foot size must be close to a 12 which is toooooooo big for SRK's little feet. SRK trying to match wits with the Big B is a dream which he probably should've never wished to dream. The Big B was impressive in Don because it was "The Angry Young Man" who was needed for the role and moreover, he carved the 'Don' we know today. Another actor would have been better suited for this remake but with SRK's enormous popularity, i expect this movie to be a hit too.
I dont think its right to compare both of them.Shahrukh isnt acting in Don to prove he is better than Amitabh.
Farhan Akthar is remaking Don coz he wants to do something different with it.present it in a different way. They r different in their own way. Comparisons cant be made and shudnt be made.
If he has to do the same things as amitabh does and prove he is better, whats the whole point in remaking the film :-) I think shahrukh will do a good job
there is no way he can be as big as amitabh ... and i dont even think he can fill his shoes in Don ... amitabh is much more versatile than shahrukh ... from Chupke Chupke to Zanjeer to Don to Kabhi Kabhi to Baghban ... Amitabh is untouchable ...

well yes...but did SRK hav to struggle so much that he contemplated going back...no? when u do not hav logic Mr Akhauri u resort to saying that another person doesnt make sense....lol,funny. Anyways SRk has got as many awards as Amit ji...u can check.There must b 1 or 2 less but then amitji is here since 40 yrs n srk is 40 yrs old...hahahaha.. Do one thing compare 1st 15 yrs of Amitabh's career with SRk bcos it is his 15th year in the industry and then talk, with teh proof of records n awards...n pls shatrughan sinha agar amitji k liye competition tha to fir u r urself saying k amitji kitne mahan kalakaar thay....lol, shatrughan sinha? n by the way All actors use lipstick from Govinda to Amir khan to even Amitji...i had seen the making of Khuda gawah n Mr. Amit's makeup man was applying lipstick to him...hahahhaha...i m not laughing at amitji but at the person who said stop applying lipstick to which ever actor...u need to see the shooting of a movie b4 u comment on who uses what makeup...

well Mr. Akhauri...u not only support mr bachan but also jr.bachan...now i like abishek,most girls do..but u see the point...ur loyalty is towards a family...the bachans....not towards an actor as an individual....so no point discussing
Its very bad that people thinking to compare SRK with big B. i wonder how SRK movies are running good at boxoffice... SRK is not at all comparable to big B..please remove this blog asap..

well with amitabh everything was a flop n he was going back to Ilahabad wen someone who had gone to the staion to meet him on behalf of the director/producer n said he will b getting Zanjeer...hehehe...i never heard SRK wanted to go back to Delhi.He never looked back ever.
With Amitji.. Surya vansham-BIG FLOP,Laal Badshah- Bigger Flop, Jaadugar- hilarious, Parwana-- hehehe wher he tried playing a negative role[beyond his capability that time],n by the way Pardes was a hit u can check the box office records

Rita you dont make any sense. It doesn't matter if somebody at some point was struggling. SRK was doing TV serials which was not available in BIG B's time and have you seen the list of flop films of SRK. He has given 18 flops and even when BIG B was not getting hits he did ger a National award in his very first movie Saat Hindustani. He won Filmfare for Anand his performance in ABHIMAAN was critically acclaimed. Big B has given 50 hits till now and he is still on. And SRK is already finished 2005 has witnessed the begining of SRK\'s downfall. Even if DON is a superhit it wont help SRK. Jn.B has taken the film world by storm. And negetive role.BIG B was the first to play a negative role in DEEWAR which was superhit. And Anjaam of SRK was a disaster. Hail Mr.Bachchan HELL SRK 18 flops...only 16 hits out of which 4 with the help of BIG B
hey srk and talent....dil se -super flop ramjane-super flop swades-a great movie but because OF SRK THE MOVIE was super flop. Paheli was again a great movie but again srk failed to deliver he cudn't pull this movie off and paheli was declared flop. On the other hand despite having no commercially attractive content BIG B pulled off BLACK. BIG B has pulled off so many below average movie like aaj ka arjun, hum, baghbaan, mard, kaalia and so many. these movies ware not great but did great at box office because of charismatic performance of the FATHER OF BOLLYWOOD, the GOD of acting, the multiferious talent, the star of stars the biggest star bollywood has ever witnessed Mr.BACHCHAN.

ha You just few film of SRK I think u have to study more about SRKs sucess ok You had writen about flop film of SRK what About Bazigar,Karan arjun,kuch kuch hota hai,dil tho pagal hai,darr,and manny more. and what about DDLJ just look out this list ok and then give your camments about most successfull star in this industries.

well the fan following that SRK has now..did Amitji have wen he was as old for the industry[less than 15 yrs right now..]..if u dont wanna acknowledge his success n wish for SRK's failure..its ur choice but the fact is the audience goes applauding even abroad wen he comes on stage..more than it has ever done for any other actor till date
