SRK may not be at par with Amitabh. But the success he has had till date is at par with Amitabh during the same tenure. SRK has to show how much versatile he is ......coz Amitabh is still at pinnacle. Amitabh was awesome in potrayal of DON. SRK has'nt been good in films like Ramjaane and duplicate where he was kind a don. This is a real test of SRK.

Well Big B had been outstanding in original Don. But if u r making a remake of the same SRK has to be playing DON. The characters requires a confident negative character look followed by a simple, cute and humorous guy and SRK fits all the bill based on his past experience. I know SRK has been ding lot of Soap oriented movies lately but who could forget his performances in Darr and especially the end fight of Bazigar. SRK is one actor who can make you laugh can make you cry and has looks to be a Don (clips of this movie and the title song of Kaal is evidence enough)
dude..we cant compare the old 1 to this new DON...MR. BACHAN is a legend and no one could b compared to him..and no doubt tht srk is good but guyz..let me tell u they both r good in ther own ways..they cant b compared to each other...and this new DON looks full of graphics..and srk and acting..no way..and the new DON music is boring
