Hey guys i have seen so many people giving the best actor award to AB sr. well ya he is a terrific actor, but what i feel is we are giving him the award out of our love and affection towards him, which he definitely deserves, but this year there was aan excetional performance from atleast one guy who i think outshone AB in Black with his Title role in Iqbal, so my award for best actor goes to Shreyas Talpade for Iqbal, best actress Rituparna sen gupta for Mein meri patni aur woh, best supporting actor Naseeruddin Shah for Iqbal, Best Movie Black Best Music Ashiq banaya Apne, Best director Nagesh Kukanoor. Anyone thinks otherwise, please say so, we can have a healthy discussion about it, no hard feelings.
i think the best music director awards is himesh reshmmiya for "Aashiq Banaya Aapne" this music rocks the entire nation throught the year not for "Bunty Aur Babli" (because it is a yashraj banner) no song From B'n'B have good sucess Except Kajra Re. only for one song it is wrong to give b'n'b best music awards.also "Aashiq Banaya Aapne" is most selling album of the year.
I don't believe the people on this forum !!! Amitabh being chosen as the best actor for black, by most of the people...its just so plain hillarious. I went to see Black with an american friend of mine, I was so embarrassed by Amitabh's acting that I left the theater after 10 minutes !!!
That was the first time after a long time, I decided to watch an indian movie....and I guess it will be another great while before I will be able to muster enough courage to see another one.

hey its totally ridiculous. r u crazy? Amitji`s performance in black is the best performance of Amitji`s career and of course best performance in d bollywood. I think u dont understand wat d acting means.

thats the problem Sujan, you should have atleast waiting till the interval. you saw it for 10mins and left, then you missed 2+ hours of the remaining movie !!
HKA deserves the honor for this year in all categories. Be it best actor, actress, best film, screenplay and direction. In all reckoning, Sudhir Mishra deserves applause for making such a hard hitting love story against a strong political back drop and politically decaying India of 70's
Although the movie bombed at the box office but I am glad it was not overloked by Rediff. Good quality Cinema needs to be appreciated.
Indians still like larger than life cinema. no wonder we do not get to see strong scripted movies like Shyam Benegal's Kalyug and more recently HKA.
