they didnt select black because most of the movie was not in Hindi and it was higly inspired by hollywood movie the miracle worker. i think thats why they didnt select it but i think it was a good movie well made...

I donot think BLACK is best. If BLACK is best then why it is not selected for OSCAR ?? If people are so sentimental about BLACK, then why they are not beating the committe who decided the worst movie peheli as the oscar nominee after accepting money from Shahrukh Khan. If all BIG B fans ready to scold the committe and Shahrukh Khan, then I am ready to accept BLACK is best.
