Being an Indian, I am of the view that the actress Mallika must be punished in public for her extreme exposure ...coz she shows her nudeness in the public. This is absolutely against the Indian Culture and whoever dares to play with its culture must be punished in such a way that nobody ever dare again to repeat it.

Being another Indian, I am of the view that whatever Mallika dresses in whether in the public eye or not is entirely her choice. My point: her body, her clothes, her modesty. Shes has it and she flaunts it!! If it bothers you, please look elsewhere. And my friend, since you feel you need to uphold Indian culture please take a look at our cherished history - of temples (Khajuraho), text (Kamasutra) etc. You might also be interested in visitng our remote villages where women wear just a saree draped around the body - no blouse! It is not necessarily out of choice but also due to poverty and/or climatic conditions. Our ancestors weren't as prudish as you are being on this matter. I am sure you mean well, but there has to be a constructive way this issue can be viewed. Punishing her is not a solution or a favour to society. Sweeping it under the carpet is no solution either. Movies reflect social mores and Mallika may have been playing a role which required her to dress in the way she did and/or dance the way she did.
