dont u think u r always biased against ash? u say rani mukerji didnt have good luck at box office this year but she did justice to her roles in KANK and baabul. hasnt ash also given 1 of her career best performances in umrao jaan though it's a flop. and in dhoom 2 u could see only her looks. she has performed well too guys. and i dont it's right of u to say that she shouldnt have shot her mouth off too often in D2 ! c'mon that was her character. she was playing a girl who's hot but too talkative also. infact one who talks silly. but that was only in the 1st half. in the 2nd half she had mature scenes. u can't question a character of a film. thats the film maker's prerogative. arent there ppl like that in the real world?

suraj r u crazy?ASH is only a doll who can only luk a zillion bucks,but when ur talking of acting she's nowhere.she's one of the worst overrated actresses,her performance in umrao jaan was pathetic and her meagre role in D2 was unbearable,only dat she luked as sexy as hell.but dnt even try to compare this insipid ash to RANI.
kajol is the best actress of bollywood . no one can beat him because she is unique her facial expression is natural . she likes madhu bala because her smile also mysterious . she was looking fabulous in fanna .
After seeing your review of the best movies of the year 2006, I can laugh,I can cry or I can get angry or infact I can even stop seeing rediff from now on or even go to the extent of asking is rediff a patriotic website that covers all the regions of the country. Are the media's mindset on movies is only on the Hindi cinema otherwise called as BOLLYWOOD? We have more than 17 languages in India. Better change the title as TOP 10 HINDI MOVIES
No other language film has been selected by you. On top of that your are proud and dare enough to put some of the worst movies as the top 10 best movies. This shows the skill level of the Rediff staffs.
I would have been happy if you have selected some good movies taken by the bollywood makers (though it's an loose statement).
Preity was superb in KANK. I would leave out Priyanka -just because she was in hit movies - she did not have author backed roles. Kareena although a good actress did not give any hits. Don's item number does not mean a place on the list. Forget Mallika ,Vidya ,Ayesha. So the filmfare award should go to either Bipasha in Corporate or better still Kangana for either Gangster or Woh Lamhe. She made the characters so real. Rani , Preity , Kajol , all did their best but the choice has to narrow. I narrow it to Kangana - Filmfare Award unless there is a bias towards newcomers.
Iam shocked to see untalented heroines like kareena aishwarya and mallika have been taken but Amrita rao who has proved her good performance in movies like ishq vihq, MHN Vivah not been included i would say it is compeltely unfair. if priyanka who is sexy actres but not shown as such commendable perfomance. ayesha on a/c of dor been included it is good but one i have noticed in film industry that if anybody does a in offbeat film kind of movies that actor automatically becomes good.she has not given single hit even she is in the list.priyanka and especially aishwarya and kareena has not done a great if then they are in list.Iwould say these 2 ladied are very lucky that they always get such good movies but they do'nt deserve and those who deserve they don't get such movies or not included in the list
