That's just ridiculious , u mean to say that colonials was right in the way they treat Bhagat Singh & group because they always has a murder on their agenda , NO! If they had such thinking then they could have done more damage in Assembly instead of what they did, and why should they apologize, they claimed live of just one british officer, and it justifies by taking in view of that butchered lahicharge on lala lajpat rai and his followers which resulted in his martyrdom , my friend they were not criminals who deserved that type of punishment especially in my views.

Excellent movie, excellent ending but could have shown it in a better way.No government takes such steps against people confessing their deeds. It was a great movie and very good attempt to show the youth that violence is not the way.I hated Aamir before, now I am his huge fan.

among the recent movies, I did not like the ending of Rang De Basanti. I dont njoy movies with tragic endings. Ek Duje Ke Liye, QSQT both had similar kind of tragic endings.

Film ending

Generally all our family films have an happy and unrealistic end (when all are united) which I do not like. But there was one film 'Sansar', starring Rekha, Raj Babar and Anupam Kher, where in the end Rekha realistically verrecognises the unplugable breach and says that instead of living again as a joint family in one house, we should live separately, but meet every Sunday. It is better to live physcially far off and near in hearts than far off in hearts, but physically very near.

I did not like the ending of Salam Namaste. Though I have not a regular movie goer still I have gone to see Salam Namaste as I like Saif's acting and and I heard abt the different storyline of the movie. Though movie was avobe average but at the end Abhishek's entry is so disgusting and that full climax. Oh my god I could not hold myself back to the seat

Sadma
by Neelesh on Apr 20, 2006 10:08 AM

Sadma is by far the most painful movies. No movie comes close to what Sadma acheive in its final moments. It wrenches out the even the last drop of optimism out of your heart & leaves a stamp of pain which is symbolic to the movie. A Depressive one but still remains one of the masterpieces and a film I like.

Ek Duje ke Liye is another one which qualifies the cut, but then again to speak in its favor I would say that it was a true to life portrayal of a relationship. The director did not give Kamal the heroic powers to fight it out with the baddies to save his woman. Kamal's character is that of a common man who would rarely face such situations. Yes, the fact still remains that its another painful ending which could have been made if not happy then less painful.

Anand does not hit you until the silence of the climax runs over you. All along the movie is like a fun-fair headed by Rajesh Khanna & then all of a sudden the silence becomes unbearable to the characters as well as the audience. Thats when Anand touches our hearts & wins it over.

None of the endings I would have like to change, but something within me still does not like the endings :)
