I hope Anu Malik is aware that it is Indian Idol and not American Idol. Why else would he want a girl who looks like Julia Roberts and sings like Britney Spears? Sir please appreciate our beautiful country for what we have rather than try and force things that is not ours. And more importantly, as an Indian I would not want a girl with a Britney Spears voice to be the voice of India. God that's the end!!! of a lot of beautiful things.
Please be appreciative of what we have Mr. Malik rather than chase the American Dream!!! Reserve that for America please!!!!!
These three judges were not authorised by Indian people to select Indian idols. Here, neither the judges nor the contestants truly represent Indian idols. Anu Malik is doing best what he can - copying the US and the UK models. He is not looking for originals, he says he wants Julia Roberts and Britney Spears combined, he cannot think of Indians. So the winners will be neither true Indian idols nor do they represent anything truly Indian.
Before even the announcement of second is made the first Indian Idol who was hammered on us on Sony channel is already almost dead and gone. Every body knew he was ordinary with ordinary singing talent with a little better smile than other contestants. So who wants second mediocre person again? Its a nonstarter already! Is Indian idol and Indian public so cheap to accept these run-of -the -mill boys and girls? Is this the legacy of great Rafi, Kishore, Talat,Lata, Aasha? These idols will not be even accepted as shishyas of these greats! Forget it!! Vidwans
