I don't know what Anu Malik expects from the Indian contestants. This is Indian idol, not American.
What does he mean by saying, "she should have Julia Roberts's face and Britney Spears's voice." Excuse me? Why can't we be allowed to have our own unique voices?
And if Anu Malik is really as ignorant as he sounds, I guess I'll tell him the facts. As a resident of the US, I know that both of the above mentioned stars are held in very little esteem by Americans themselves. Sure, Spears was a budding star a few years ago, but she has barely any fans now. She is nothing but a pop star, and her songs have idiotic lyrics and bad music. Julia Roberts is ok, but her face is not pretty at all. So if Anu Malik persists in his anglophilia, maybe he should be removed from his judge's post.
Hello, Sir/Madam, i m hemant from gujarat, i would like to part in indian Idol 2, but in our area there is no airtel tower so, what can i do? plz, give me a landline no. for gujarat or Mumbai.

Last time around, Amit Sana lost because he came from small-time town, Bhilai,( also my home town.)Not many people feel the need to carry a mobile phones there, few can spend thousands in SMS-ing messages. Clearly , there is a flaw in the competition. Sana would have won, had the judges decided the Indian Idol. You can't take the competition to the penulitmate phase and leave it for the "SMS-freaky" audience to decide the fate of Indian Idol.It is clear that the Sponsor "Airtel" is minting money out of this.If this goes on, the next Idol will again be from one of the metros, who can afford SMS-ing till their fingers cramp.
