Sunil Dutt: an ideal of rare breed
by Manish Anand on May 28, 2005 01:05 AM

Sunil Dutt belonged to that genre which believed in their conviction and lived their lives as their gut feeling made them to. It's ironical how did he land up with a party which was so mismatch for him.
He has made his impacts. It doesn't matter how many memorials or roads he get named after him, he lived the way he wanted and made a mark. The enormity of achievement will always make people to look into themselves and challenge their courage and conviction.
Thanks a lot Sri Sunil Dutt for making us proud of your generation.

He fought bigots tooth and nail

Mahesh Bhatt whom I view as a outspoken person has come up with a very good eulogy to Sunil Dutt.
He has spoken the same words that I would have written. Many join politics for power or personal greed. But Sunil Dutt was a caring human being and a
social worker who gave completely to the ordinary Citizen. He was a good father , a good husband and a true politician. He actually lived the values of Mahatma Gandhi. I hope that the Congress Party finds a replacement that is just as worthy of the individual that Sunil Dutt was. Sunil Dutt will be missed.
