Its certainly good times for Vipul Shah and the booking charts wholeheartedly agree with us. Waqt has opened to a speedstart response with tickets selling like hotcakes. The director seems to have done a fair job with the heavy-duty emotional drama. The IndiaFM camera captured bulk crowds at New Empire. From collegians to professionals, housewives & aunty variety, its a healthy mix that should keep the houseful boards steady.
People have declared the film as a family entertainer with all its drama, dollops of tears, laughter and likeable music. But performances in the film is what has got people excited. Amitabh Bachchan as most agree has delivered a knockout performance. There is nobody better says a middle-aged movie-goer. Boman Irani and Rajpal Yadav have given people their tickets worth of laughs. Priyanka Chopra & Shefali Shah find little mention with ticket buyers. But its Akshay Kumar who seems to have the unanimous vote of the audiences. Akshay has given a brilliant performance this is the buzz among the crowds.
In a nutshell, the start is splendid and the film looks all poised to see a good Waqt at the boxoffice.
Man, I tell ya, your reviewers are a bunch of NUTTz mostly. No personal offences. But I still remember your review of Page 3.. which eventually churn out to be the biggest grosser this year so far.
I respect rediff.com for it's content. But honestly, sometimes I feel as if your content is not all that honest. They are biased or made biased. And if it's not true, I suggest, get better writers.
Waqt is not just about one reviewer's liking. As a reviewer lok at what message you are passing. I suggest, watch a movie how a viewer must watch and not a movie-bored guy, whose monotonous job is nothing but to watch movies, movies and only movies.
Improve your reviews.
Thanks Akhilesh
PS: I LOVED the movie WAQT. And thats the bottom line.
my subject it self is necessary.i think rediff is trying to grab attention.but this is a cheap trick.they said kisna an epic,a must watch.it flopped.they said zeher not good.and now it is running above average.and now for waqt.plz stop.so never ever dare to review
Hi I hvnt seen the movie, so no comments on that. But my experience is if you read the review at IndiaFM then most of the times its a positive one, even for crappy movies, and if you follow it here its almost always negative....(i have been following both the sites for over an year now!), better find a median.
If one were to go by u'r reviews...we would rather stop watching movies altogether!!! Kindly remember reviews is not only about damning a movie...Your decesion to play God just might make a good movie bite dust....dont crib later that all the movies are flopping at the boxoffice...u will have blood on ur hands for that!!
Amitabh is INVINCIBLE. No matter what you guys try to do..by portraying or I should say brainwashing readers about his lack of performance/performances...but I must say...you guys are still living in illusion.People who visit these internet sites to read reviews are definitely not fools and you can't just try to mislead them or create bad impressions in their mind. I dont know if Big B refused to give interview to you guys earlier and after that I guess you started pulling him down in a bid to balance your vibes. But again let me remind you, if you keep doing this, people could only laugh or sympathize.Laugh because you are making yourself a laughing stock by trying to pull down the biggest legend himself and sympathize because you guys probably would be left all alone. Be proud to have an actor like Big B in India which the whole world acknowledges and moreover there are already very few things to be proud of in India. So lets try to give somebody their due value who really deserves rather than pulling down each other.
