While it is heartening to know that the Excellent Bengali Movie "Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayen" has been recommended by Rediff, I would like to point out a mistake in the description which is so important a part of the movie. The magic slippers were presented to them NOT BY ANY MAGCIAN they met but by the KING OF GHOSTS who resides in the forest where these two guys met after being thrown out. Excluding or NOT KNOWING this fact is really sad because even Satyajit Ray thought of this fact to be so vital that he has devoted 10 mins of the movie in just showing GHOST'S DANCE (An Excellent piece of photography). And just for information, the voice of the GHOST KING was that of Satyajit Ray's.
